I mistakenly bought a chacha and as its not compatible with 3G of argentina I am using 2g,

My phone wont charge! I charge it every night and when i unplug it it says empty power remaining..... WTF!

why cant I move my apps to SD card? Every time I try to do that with one app or selecting all, the phone gets restarted. EVen when I try to download an app like app2sd, after downloading, still the phone gets restarted. What should I do now?? :/

this set is very fine with elegant interface and the shape of mobile.. very fast speed and as u know android has mmany awsome applications at play store or black market alpha, the display and the body of this mobile is scratchless which is mind blowing quality in cheap price, u dnt have to put ur mobile in a cover n u dnt have to put display protector.. wifi speed is very speed which i m using right now.. result n colours of display is very inspiring.. gr8 processing speed, .. but gr8 features come with more power consumption.. the negative point is it would eat out ur bettery very fast if u continue using ur mobile for 2 hrs with wifi or 3 hrs without wifi.. it depends on ur use, if u use like me for msging purpose n to use mind blowing apps games then u wud have to run to charge ur mobile at least 2 times a day .. but if u r bz person n use ur mobile only for calling n very little use of idle things then it may extent to whole day or upto next morning.. the 2nd problem with this mobile is that it has many features but very tiny internal memory, although u can move ur apps to sd card but some apps can't b moved to sd card and further the apps which is moved to sd card store some files in internal memory, it means if an app is 8 mb n u move it to sd card it wud carry 7 mb to sd card n 1 mb wud keep in phone memory.. n if u use facebook it synchronise ur social data in ur mobile such contacts n personal detail which is saved in phn memory, u shud avoid auto updating feature otherwise it wud keep eating ur phone memory.. with these some negative points this mobile is still very fine i have been using it for months, ...

Hi All,
I recently bought HTC Status and would like to share my experience. Hope my feedback could give some idea to save or utilize your money before you decide to buy this phone.
My purpose of buying HTC status to use Qwerty keyboard, access the exchange emails freely and chat where as in my existing blackberry 9000 I need to pay at least 10USD per month additionally towards the Data for internet & internet calling another 10USD. Hope you could understand my purpose.
So I started to use the new HTC status which I bought for 175$. I was held up with system inbuilt memory. Cannot install more than 3 apps. Need to (Must) root...
• Firstly, this is not suggested phone for the Smart phone users who used smart phone earlier such as blackberry or iphone / Android.
• Battery cannot stay for half day for normal using too. Unless you don’t do any call or use the data plan.
• Phone used to get more heat if you use very often for calling or using apps.
• You cannot get any cover in the market for this phone.
• Could not feel handy in hands. So better leave the phone in desk unless you attend the call.
• Most of the apps will come horizontal and then vertical.
• Web experience and email reading experience are bad. Reading pane is very small.
• For smart phone beginners, you will feel good to use. As many things are cheap.
• For users who use Smartphone already. Suggest you double check before you waste your money which you could not get back. ( when I found this phone experience not good, I tried to return to the same shop just in one week. He asked for the price of 100$ . I thought I can give to my kids to play instead ;)

dont buy, internal memory is too low, cant install apps, and screen is very small

Indian buyers beware it does not support 3G in India as only phones supporting 2100 HSPDA band can work with 3G. This phone supports only 1900 band in 3G. It's a complete let down after I have bought for my Dad.

i use htc chacha, 1. my screen touch has ceased functioning making it difficult for me access the the manu, is there any way i can use the keyboard to enter the main manu?
