I got my phone back from service.Its workin' fine now.But The service center guy has upadted my HTC touch with Windows mobile 6.1 ..My finger swipe Touch Flo navigation doesnt seem to work anymore?? How do i make it work in this version ??

Maverick, 18 Jan 2009hi..While on the beach, my HTC Touch fell into the water :-... morehey maverick, da sea water is salty so perhaps a minor salt deposit might have been formed in da circuit of da fone. so better show it to da service centre.

I mean, like some PDA... morehi shefali, am using touch for 6 months. its a good fone. yes it has handwriting recognition n its pretty inteligent. its called da transcriber. its accurate n user friendly too. i hav a good example- actually am a student, sumtimes wen i dont get my notebook to any lecture i simply use my touch n start writing with da transcriber. u can imagine how fast students hav to write wen professors dictate. but it bcomes difficult to write with such a small stylus!! nevertheless its smart n fast. b4 buying u can hav its demo at any htc authorized dealear or an electronic megastore such as CROMA. n see whether it meets ur satisfaction. touch's processor is fast so it doesnt take time to show up on screen after writing. all da best

shan, 09 Jan 2009sell it Hi i had same problem of calls made to my number getting missed while using HTC touch. Change windows OS from 6.0 to 6.1. It will solve all ur problems. All the best. hope i was of some help to you.

You can also use the device´s keyboard or download a dozen different types of full qwerty keyboards

Does it have handwriting recognition. I mean, like some PDAs, where we can write anywhere on the screen with the stylus and the words just show up on-screen automatically.
Does it support such a function, or do we need to use the tiny virtual on-screen keyboard "only"? :-(

HTC Touch is a very good Phone is am using last four month but i am facing a lot of problem in this phone network problem is coming every half nd hour low batery back sound quality is poor so plsss suggest me wat i do
And i bought this phone 13k but its price is increase so it means the effect of cost cutting.

The battery backup is worst when it is in use. If you download from internet in phone or in PC for a long time then it is becoming too much hot. At that time you can't touch your "HTC Touch". If it is hot, then it will not charge. So, after few hour battery will be drained and it will turn off.
Rather tahn that, it is all in one phone.
Still now I'm happy with this phone.

hi..While on the beach, my HTC Touch fell into the water :-( .I left it to dry the entire night.Finally when i switched it ON,the phone gets hanged on the introductry HTC logo.?? What could possibly be wrong?

Great phone!!! I´ve just installed manilla 2d (V.19 mixed with V.20 cabs) and it works great!!! It is practically identical (if not better) than the Viva or 3G (sofwarewise)!!! Ya´ll should try it!!!

i dont know why htc is doing cost cuting in there models ?? iam going to buy htc touch but i found there is no carrying pouch, ear phone even they also increase the prise.
i didnt purchase this bcos i thought htc has also sacrifices the quality also bcos one touch customer was fighting to a dealer as he start facing problom of speaker in 3 days of purchase.

i am using this phone last 7 month but no any help from company side bcoz in the begining i got a problem in this device it has very low battery back up and network signal is up and down every time.I went service center for this issues every time he did only firmware update and said it is ok but still problem is remain same.
