Very nice phone with good features but my screen has gone after 3 months.Lots of colours all over it.I dont think this phone can take any type of rough handling at all.I am sendning mine back to the manufacturer.

Could someone please let me know the contents of the box. Mainly, does the box include stereo headphones for music. Also, does the phone use miniUSB?

I understand that the UI for Touch Cruise is slightly differemt from Touch, with new updates with regards to viewing photos etc. Is it possible to upgrade the UI in Touch to that of Touch Cruise?

                  @ FIrst Timer

If you are using a unsecured wifi network, you cannot access your computer, cuz you are behind a NAT. The user owning that network must forward your ports for the remote desktop/ftp'ing thing. Also if u try to access your phone from your computer using the same unsecured or whatever network (that u dont own), you cant. You can just IM and send some files, but no ftp/vnc etc.. Still if u do own the network, check your NAT/Virtual Server settings in your wifi router.

HTC Touch... AWESOME!!! Was given this handset and I'm actually shocked at how impressive this handset is! Didn't expect much but it has impressed me from the first time i switched it on!

Have yet to encounter any problems. I've read reviews calling the HTC Touch the "iphone-killer" and i must agree 100%

not really sure if its the ram or the processor but this phone is a little slow...maybe the touch screen is not as sensitive as it should be

This is a great little smartphone! Well Done HTC!

Many people compare the HTC Touch & iPhone... well, i've been privileged enough to have used both handsets/smartphones and with all honesty... "there isn't a big difference at all!!!"

Granted, iPhone seems a slightly better allround device, however, i have found myself preferring the HTC Touch over time!

Its difficult to compare these two very good smartphones. Instead of comparing them... lets just say they are both fantastic devices. I have used both devices on and off for about 6months now, and neither device has given me any problems!

Personally, I commend HTC on a awesome little smartphone! I would recommend it to anyone considering the HTC Touch.

                          Hi guys,
can someone pls answer following questions cuz I want to get the touch colour in white soon! thx!

1 - friend told me the processor is 201 Mhz, and it's too slow. what's your feed back? I won't use much, just making phone calls, send and receive text msg, make appts, etc. I don't even plan to receive or send emails to this phone.

2 - how's the camera respond time? I've the Shine from Asia and the camera is very slow. I mean, you need to hold on to the bottom for few sec then the phone will take the photo.

3 - I'm a mac user. can any one pls tell me if I can get sync this phone with my iCal? if not, what software do I need in order to sync it with my mac book?

any feed would be greatly appreciated!
                          Thx!

                                  hi catalin

i have also used htc touch, and now with the dream fone iphone. touch good for a less busy person but not one like you. after installation of wm6 soft, it is left with only , perhaps 21/22 mb of ram. any software u install in memory card, some basic ini/exe files go to the ram and occupy space. after piling of numbers of software the rest of the ram/rom gets filled up. iphone with such a big memory 300 mb for software, i also faced the same problem like u, u cannot get everything done by this small touch fone. be happy with limited installation. nothing can be done to it. cheers.

                                        Go to Start-Programs-Bluetooth explorer-My documents.
Than copy or cut your file and put it in the memory card.
But if you instal a program,it ask in which directory you want to install it,so,just choose the memory card.
