You say you want an iPhone instead? I'm not interested in carrying around a large media player. The Touch is more a micro mobile office companion that can play movies and music as well. It's a marvel of miniturisation and if used to it's potential can be an invaluable and productive tool.
For sheer form and functionality the Touch is the ultimate Pocket PC/moibile phone to date.

HTC finally listened. The newest roadmap is showing Qualcomm MSM7200 400 MHz on all models. The build in ROM is a little on the low side but I am fine with that. That's what the SD are for. BTW, Touch with 400 MHz only available on CDMA.

Please, please, HTC.
Get away from those 200mHz OMAP's, we are sick and tired of them. Give us a 416mHz Bulverde or an PXA27xx with even higher clock and let us choose if we prefer performance or additional battery time!
Pretty please?

It looked sleek and certainly sweet. Small device and works good when I tested it in a shop. I also thought the processor would make it slow but SURPRISE SURPRISE, it worked well and fast.

HTC Touch ... I am using for last one week .. Its AMAZING..Just 112gms, 2MP camera and FLO features, its a awsome device. Earliet I was worried about its 201MHz processor, But this Windows 6 device never hangs...no hassels at all.. I would say its a device of the year.
