Hi .. All , i want 2 know that why it is called "Special Version". whats d special in it either it have special feature or it just business strategy. Available in very economy range but want 2 know abt special.

the special version is a slightly downgraded version to make it cost effective, I think around 16k INR.
The main difference being that it has no 3g. and it has a silver body shell

I'm considering buying the touch2, and I have a couple questions:
1. Is it hard to find software on the Microsoft Marketplace that is compatible with the 240x320 screen?
2. Does it have voice dialing? (can I record someone's name and associate it with a phone #, and then say that name and have it automatically dial that number?
3. If yes to 2, can I initiate voice dialing from a bluetooth headset?

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2010hi - I am facing a problem.. when i tried to sync my phone ... moreyeah, go into your start menu/ programs/ active sync. once there go into menus / options / settings, in there they should give you a choice on how you want your phone to sync with the pc, if there is a conflict etc. choose the one that says "stay as it is, and not change mobile addresses". sync up to pc again and hopefully it should be ok.

If so; you have to ensure that you sync FROM Outlook TO your Device, in other words when you need to add more addresses or data to your phone the best way to do this is through Outlook Contacts (in this way you can add all of you contact details plus notes etc.) So that when you attach your device to your PC, it will upload your details to the device each time you attach to you PC, so what you need to do is tell Windows Sync as default to UPLOAD to your device rather than DOWNLOAD from your device, then it should sync properly. If you do not sync correctly the device will sync back it's data to Windows instead. Also another tip when entering data in Outlook is to look for an Outlook addon called 'Outlook Backup' it's a freebie, hope this helps...regards

hi - I am facing a problem.. when i tried to sync my phone with my pc, some contacts on the phone were deleted. has happened twice. can someone tell me if there is something in the settings which could be of help to prevent this from happening

Mhakee, 24 Jan 2010i have a problem regarding htc touch 2.. i have correct tim... moredate & time in your messages doesnt have any link with your system time. those messages time are set by network. Its like your email time settings, the time displayed ther is when your network sent the msg to u.. not your system time.

ekie, 10 Jan 2010i have the magic n the alarm doesn't repeat too :' ( i don... morehi friends.. i found most of u complaining about alarm doent repeat. there is an option for that. go to clock & alarms from your home screen, in the each alarm setting, you will find a bell and time icons displayed on the right side. click the bell icon, it will show you some option, in that u can change your sound, repeat alarm, & vibrate/ flash lite options are there. choose repeat alarm, if u want to repeat the ring again & again & auto snooz...

i have a problem regarding htc touch 2.. i have correct time zone and time.. in my clock and the calander.. but at my sms/ inbox date.. its different.. and the time is also different.. its kinda weird.. the date and time recieved didnt matched the date and time that i set on my phone can u pls help me.. regarding with thiss pls.. thank so much god bles!
