giulo, 24 Oct 2010is it possible to install a 32GB card in it? or is 16gb max?I've heard both answers, but I don't actually know anyone with a 32GB card on a phone as they're way too expensive!

Maybe you should try a 32GB in a shop to check whether it will be recognised by your Diamond2.
That would be the safest way.

However, I can assure it accepts 16GB cards without any problem!

That is precisely the card I've got inside my Diamond2 and it has been immediately recognised.

Although with plenty of videos, programmes and some games, apart from the occasional photos, mine is still about half full... yet!

No problems whatsoever! =)
It has been a GREAT phone to me. Not a problem, so far.

Good Luck with your phone!

I love this phone. I have it for 1,5 year now, no problem at all! This phone has a lot of features, very good specs, everything works perfect and the HTC sense is very nice. This phone is from early 2009, so yes the NEW samsung galaxy s is better, no doubt, and yes new high-end devices have more specs, but this phone is almost 2 years available. The other phones mentioned below, are brand new. I have a question, how can I select more than 1 item to copy or cut?? anyone knows that?

I had this phone for over 3 monthes and i let it go but i am not sorry for that cause all the features of this phone are overpowered by all other phones in the same categorey , it is not durabile and the battery really sucks and if you replace it with a better one "which still sucks" it will increase the thickness
the touch screen is o.k but it is overpowered by samsung and sony
        the sound isn't good
being a windows mobile may be the only advantage besides its acceloremeter
        the camera isn't good enough
i have to admit that its wifi and bluetooth are flawless

hi i have experienced lots of HTC and SAMSUNG mobile phones.. And one thing that i like about both of the brands is they have GOOD SCREEN RESOLUTION. However HTC has a problem that SAMSUNG doesnt... HTC is not durable as SAMSUNG... HTC is a very fragile phone... I dont know what the Tawainese company is thinking but i got to say that Korean Technology is soon going to dominate the world in techonology... Overall... I recommend that all of you should get the SAMSUNG GALAXY S rather than any HTC mobile phones.

HTC made a very sleek designed phone and the brand itself is growing, hopefully the new WM 7 devices will be as good as this one. I simply love this phone........ it is very nice. And the price is not to high which is good as well.

Hi Everybody, I used this phone for about 6 months with HTC upgrade to WM6.5 and I generally like it - quite reliable, blutooth works flawlessly, feels small enough to carry in a pocket, as an internet modem works reasonably well on 3G network. The sound is reasonably good, the still camera is just FANTASTIC for a phone, just don't forget to clean the lens :)

A couple of little annoyances. 1. It feels very underpowered, especially while running Opera browser (I compare with Blackberry Bold 9000 Opera via non-blackberry 3G channel), sometimes it is sluggish when running 2 or 3 apps, though there is a plenty of memory. The battery capacity seems small, especially with blutooth on. The keyboard is way too small to use without a stylus. Not enough buttons for my liking. And the most annoying thing - THERE IS NO 3.5mm AUDIO JACK. What is HTC thinking? Noone uses mini usb headphones.

380983, 13 Oct 2010how can u change the languageYou'll need to change the ROM.

It's always a risky and complicated process, whatever the phone.
Just an example: You'll have to backup ALL your data first.

Read about it (try to google for the info you search)and
Inform yorself about the whole process before you try to do it.

Here are some sites where you can learn about it:

utio hirokishi, 28 Sep 2010thanks I like the phone to but sometimes I like to have... moreI also like this phone.

I'll probably own better models but, for the time being, this is by far the best phone I've ever had.

As far as lag problems with online videos (& YouTube) that does not depend on so much on the battery, but on your WiFi connection speed.

I sometimes connect my phone to my computer via AvtiveSync (to update some programmes, like Quick GPS, for instance)and only then do I get really fast download speeds!

As far as my experience goes, Wifi connections are sssssssllllloooowww and then to "fall down" when you least expect it, so I try to avoid "heavy" downloads, such as downloading and playing videos and, instead, I save them on the microSD card and I get to watch whole .avi movies without any slowdowns.

Of course, that REALLY drains your battery...

That is why I'v got used to (re)charging my Diamond2 every night.

                                    * My battery only lasts (without recharging it) for the weekend, because only during the weekend I get to use my phone ONLY to make phone calls...

                                    Good Luck with your phone!

I like the phone to but sometimes I like to have a longer standbytime in order to use all the functions like watching online video and listen to music (a lot) but it will probably depends on the size of that extended battery. If it's too big or too heavy, I will stay with the original battery.

Actually, a battery with larger capacity will necessarily be "fatter" (thicker).

With the Touch Diamond2 you get a great multi-purpose phone, which gets so many functions that its battery quickly runs down...

BUT... You also get a very sleek phone which is particularly classy, portable and... handy! =)

And although I charge its battery on a daily basis...
                                        I really like this phone!
