I've been using this phone for almost 5 months now....It does it for me no major issues yet...plays flash, takes good pictures (in daylight). I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant phone.

http://www.modaco.com/... moreI am using it now. Thanks.
But it seems to be look a like for advance config which i use before.
Let see how the thing goes. I have disable the internet and wap / gprs setting. Only enable the MMS features only.
Thanks again

Luis, 20 Jan 2010GOt a question. I have TD2 long time.
Now i am winmo 6.... moreI would advise you to use nodata:
http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket-pc-software/246171/new-free-utility-nodata/
It's a free programme that allows you to block "undesired" gprs and wifi connections if you want to.
Sometimes, you install programmes (SPB Weather, for example) that automatically connect to your provider to update themselves and that DOES cost money.
There are many programmes (even google maps and gps software) that, if unable to connect to the GPS signal, automatically connect via gprs and you end up paying data connections even without realizing it.
Make sure it's not software on your phone that is doing it.
Me? I use nodata (no ad intended), and I'm very glad with it... plus, it's free! :)
Good Luck!

GOt a question. I have TD2 long time.
Now i am winmo 6.5. Notice that recentlty, the data charges from my provider is too high. I have disable my 3G service from the phone and also using a tool called advance config. I just use wifi to connect to data. No idea why my provider can charge expensive.
Any idea??

I have a TD2 bought in India. I have two questions-
1. Does the TD2 in India support Blackberry Connect? If so, any link from where it can be downloaded?
2. I find the battery awfully bad. With Wifi, Bluetooth switched off and normal usage of upto 2 hrs, I need to recharge the battery? Any clues on how I can improve the battery performance.

mkdad, 28 Dec 2009i want to run music in the background (windows media player... moreThe phone does not have flash!!! and my pictures always turn out dark!!!Also its very hard to take pictures of yourself because there is is no dedicated camera button!!!
Its also hard to send files to other phones becausen you have to send one by one!And to receive files you also have to accept each file indivisually which is very inconvienient. The phone is also very sluggish.

htc diamond2 kk, 15 Jan 2010There are some places I can't get the internet service even... moreIt all depends on signal strength.
You have to wait for the connection to be made which takes about one minute.
Then, you mustn't forget that if you move and/or the wifi signal gets weaker for any reason, you may/will lose connection.
That is not a specific phone problem. That happens with any phone as it does with your laptop.
WiFi connections do go down, even at home, as they may "suffer" from all types of interferences.
The Diamond 2 isn't particularly better than other WiFi capable phone... it's just that - at this point and stage - WiFi connections aren't that reliable (or safe, for that matter, but that would definitely be "Off Topic").
Best Luck with your phone!
