yogesh, 28 Dec 2011Does HTC Touch Diamond 2 can be enabled with JAVA enabled ... moreYes, the Diamond 2 is supports JAVA games and browsing (via J2ME).

You can google for a WebViewer that supports JAVA and install it.

Anyway, check if you have an updated (custom?) ROM, then you probably won't need to install any add-on and it is already there! =)

Here's a GREAT site for starting any searches related to the GREAT Diamond2:

Pavel, 22 Dec 2011How can i change my phone language from Spanish to English? To change language in any WM phone, you'll need to change the ROM.

There are plenty of tutorials on the Internet, try to google to find the method / ROM you prefer.

Anyway, there are sites that may help you... A LOT:

          http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559171

          http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=484

          http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401966

As you may see, it is possible to change ths phone's OS (from WM to Android, if you wish) and OS Language.

That's one of the reasons of the Diamond's 2 worldwide success.

Had this phone for just past 2years. Very happy with it for the two years, then then touch did'nt want to work anymore. Luckily i could have the whole front replaced , because it was under warenty. Since then? Endless problems. Freeze, slow with response to sms, mcuts out during calls ect.

But don't forget this is the best value-for-money you can find at the present.

Actually, this phone is a "Jack-Of-All-Trades"!
It performs brilliantly: it allows you to enjoy video, music, games, WiFi, GPS and all current comodities whilst being affordable and very friendly-sized.
It's what every HANDY should be!

funky, 13 Dec 2011how do i put all my pics on my storage card cause some if m... moreWhen you start your camera, touch anywhere on the screen NOT taking a photo.

You then get three icons at the bottom:
                      (Left to Right):
Gallery - to see all your photos and videos
Camera - to select capture modes and definitions
                      Jagged Wheel - Definitions
Clicking on the wheel, you'll see "MENU" on the screen.
                      Now, press "Advanced" (bottom right).

You'll now see Advanced Menu 1/5.
Click on the > symbol and on menu 2/5 you'll see there is the option "Storage".

Problem solved: Just click until you get "Memory Card" and select it.

From now on, you'll be saving all your videos and photos on your memory card as you'll be able to see on Windows Mobile Device Center's Explorer.

Photos will be stored inside the "DCIM" Folder that will be created on your memory card.

                          * Noticed how SE have made a "clone" of the Diamond 2 with their flagship phone the "Nozomi"??? *
The design is basically a copy of the D2:

tegbaru, 07 Dec 2011it is not coment it is question.my question is i have one h... moreNO physical keyboard? No problem!

Your Diamond2 has a potrait/lanscape keyboard on screen which you'll be able to type either with your fingers or with the included stylus, regarless on th phone's position.
Here are some pics of the HTC keyboard:
                            http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_diamond2-review-347p6.php

(at the bottom of the page ypu'll also see the keyboard on landscape position)

Actually, if you read GSMARENA's review of this phone, you'll find out all about messaging and writing down on this great phone.

Anyway,if you won't like the included keyboard, you may download several others which are available - for free - to download.

Besides, if you are making a call and need to register/write down something, simply remove the stylus from its case and you'll get a memo/message window and keyboard where you'll be able to register your notes and/or thoughts.
The screen lights up and the phone"wakes up" and gets ready for your writing every time you take off the stylus! It's really great!!!

Nowadays, most phone manufacturers have chosen not to include a physical keyboard as it makes the phone bulgier, heavier and its always something prone to malfunctions.

Anyway, see if you can adapt to a "virtual" on-screen keyboard before "taking that leap"!
                            Good luck!

I would rather have a Diamond 2 as there are plenty more progs and apps available for it and I do like WM 6.5.
Furthermore, XDA has got lots of tweaks and mods for this phone, making personalisation and updating easy and available to anyone who wishes to give it a try.

You'll have to compare prices, screen resolution and applications available.

The Diamond 2 is an older phone, that has proven to be reliable, cheap and has thousands of applications and games available.

Actually, a BlackBerry OS is meant/targeted for a specific consumer type.
A Windows Mobile phone will allow you movies, games, all types of MS Office programmes, GPS Navigators and a multitude of tools and resources which aren't available on a BlackBerry.

Having said that, I wish you make the RIGHT decision... to YOU!
It's your phone, so try them on and choose the one that suits you better.

Would anyone prefer Blackberry Storm9500 to this phone and why?

Blackberry Storm9500 has got 3.5MM audio jack, 1GB internal memory, and MicroUSB.

HTC TD2 lacks the above and uses MiniUSB.

Help me to make decision btw the two phones pls.
