well, i think that the HTC Touch Pro2 would be a good phone to have, because what if you needed internet and u weren't around a desk top computer, well u have your phone. and also it looks kinda cool. most phones dont have GPS either

Have been using HTC mobiles since 2003. Loved the Orange SPV M3100 with slide out keyboard and could do most of my work. Also lots of buttons on phone made life much easier. Had HD touch good phone but lacked keyboard as send lots of emails and do a lot of ms office work.
Upgraded to HD2 great phone but too big, screen too sensitive & just couldn’t cope with it. Sold it and bought the PRO2 which I should have done a year ago. Love it awesome and best phone ever only prob is very sluggish and slow.
What we need is a cranked up version of PRO2 with a 3.8" or 4 inch screen with at least a 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB ram and rom. The rest should fall into place. Here’s for hoping that the new pro3 being released later this year kicks ass and is not the tera being mentioned in the forums.
A pocket pc / smart phone that would rival the horrid iphone for years would be a good start. Oh and not to forget a flash which also doubles as a torch would be appreciated and a few more hardware buttons like camera, coms manager, Dpad, text, internet oh ok then base it onthr spv m3100 would be perfect.

Any new on the new pro3 the pro2 is very sluggish and wish it had the speed of hd2 which is awesome.
Is there any way i can make pro 2 faster like software upgrage or buy and fit new processoer and rom or ram?

I have been using TP2 for more than 6 months now. I am happy with the services it is giving me. I have one question though, how do you lock the phone so it does not dial automatically when you are not aware? Please is there anyone who can help? Steve.

rn, 25 Apr 2010this phone is pathetic...fragile...not user friendly..i use... moreyo, BB 9700 is not in the same level as HTc TP2..BB 9700 sucks big time !! i've been using it for the past 4 months and is not user friendly at all !! same with Apple phones !! HTC phones is the best phones

i just bought my HTC Touch Pro 2 yesterday and it's has been a phenomenal Business Phone !! it's great n easy to use !! and it's a 6.5 WinMo phone that makes it even greater...the QWERTY is Fastastic !! Touch Flo is the Best !! Hail To The King Of Business Phone !! The Touch Pro 2, Love Every Moments With It !! Nokia & Apple Phones Sucks..

I have used iPhone, Nokia, Sony Ericson, Samsung and many more, but HTC Windows Mobiles are best. Love my HTC touch pro 2.

Im planning to buy this phone bcs it looks dam cool, run on windows and the best part is it has a keyboard just like a laptop...recently i read on the tech news that Skype has stopped downloads for windows mobile.... im a super user of skype for international calls... Is there any solution for this???? i really need skype in this phone..... Does it have built in skype in it??? Plz guide me.....Thank u....

Well after having my tp2 for 24hrs here in Sydney, i found its not a bad phone, got 2 days worth of battery, and relatively good response with touchflo...
after doing some researching im wondering if upgrading to 6.5 is worth is as there seem to be many people with problems... and this is not attached to any carrier... any suggestions..
