I am going to buy this phone soon but the thing is it comes with 6.1 and i know it is upgradeable to 6.5...but i read few comments here saying that after giving the upgrade it does not work smooth is that right??? i mean is the phone gonna give any problems after the upgrade...
and does any one know any trusted websites where i can buy the phone and not worry about it being not genuine...

finally! i can post my opinion. i got this phone two weeks ago after months of eager anticipation. i love this fone. everything works great, the camera, the calls, the full qwerty keyboard. i have no problems so far (and don't plan to). one question, how do i download games to my fone? and any suggested sites?

I own a Touch Pro 2 and I love it so much with the keyboard and large display I can online with my friend while I am on the net.

I think that this is one of the best phones of HTC, and sincerely, I love the last 1Gh Processor of the HD2, but don't exist applicattions to explote it... so in every requeriments day... the TP2 is more than sufficient and the keyboard is 5 point over the HD2 in bussiness and financial workers!.
Another point is the optimizations and Updates.. now I have the official WM6.5.3 rom update and is awesome look the new interface, touch sensivity and response... (I have the WWE version), the official ROM update was publicated this February 2th ... (Since I have this phone, 3 ROM updates have published.. they have a good support!)

I'm stuck deciding between buying this phone and the Samsung Corby Pro. The specs are fairly similar (yes the Corby Pro's not a smartphone, but the differences don't really matter as far as I'm concerned).
The WM 6.1 version of this phone costs around 15% more than the Corby Pro (on eBay).
The Big Q is, will this be eligible for the WinMo 7 upgrade?
Should I go for the Samsung Corby Pro or the WM 6.1 loaded Pro 2?

It's been a while that i'm using htc cellphone... morehi javad, thank u very much, but i'm fan of messaging and i need keyboard. i'm shore that HD2 is the best phone in the world, whit 1GH processor its a real computer in pocket and wide lcd, but it hasn't keyboard. i can stand for a new phone too, i haven't bought TP2 yet.
one answer, do you know Hd2 has a back microphone to reduce call noise in busy palces or not?????

It's been a while that i'm using htc cellphones and my suggestion for u is surely HD2 .
As I know it's much more popular with doctors and dentist , bigger screen and faster processor makes it way better than TP2 for doctors .
As long as u're not a great fan of messaging i suggest u HD2 .

Once in 7 days if you have access to data connection (either through GPRS/EDGE or WiFI) then it can enhance GPS's performance by downloading QuickGPS data. Even if you dont have data connection at all GPS can work provided that you are using pre-installed maps in your device like that from Garmin.

apex_1, 11 Feb 2010Hi guys Trying to decide between Nokia N97 and HTC TP2 ... moreHey i have the touch pro 2 and i love the phone it does so much you wouldt even believe it does, so i think you should go with that, its pricey but well worth it, i have the US cellular service and its great, i have not had a problem with it yet, the internet is crystal clear and looks just like a desktop computer and does everything like a computer, you can pay bills on there and the music download is incredible the sound is so clear, i have a memory card for music and i have whole cds on my phone and you can re arrange the songs like on the actual cd its great i can go on and on all day about this phone, you have to buy it and experience it for yourself enjoy...hope that helps
