Anonymous, 30 Jun 2009i own the htc tp 2. im impressed with the messaging departm... moreI do think that standby time is different than the usage time. If we see the iphone 3gs they are saying that they imporoved the usage time of videos for instance but they failed to improve the standby time.
I can say that 3 days are very good for this handset, and I think if you use it on wifi and other audio stuff you will be able to get a decent time out of it.

i own the htc tp 2. im impressed with the messaging department, the ease of which i can view the message while being able to reply to this very message at the same time.
however, one disappointing factor is that the battery life isn't very good. im a mild user, using the phone mainly for sms, little calls and NO wifi or any surfing. no playing of games and taking of pictures or listening to music and no editing or typing of documents.
even so, the phone lasted at best, 3 and a half days. on average, it lasts about 2 full days.

Does anyone know if you can start/create a new Microsoft Word Document. I know it can view/edit documents loaded on the phone, but can it create a document straight from the phone? PLEASE HELP!

Love this phone ! freaking powerful and the keyboard is a BIG plus.
Just found out the the charger for the Touch Pro2 works with my IPod Touch .. lmao ! never wanted to pay for a mains charger and got one for 'free' now :)

doubt it. It is better than the N97, better QWERTY keyboard. Can type much better and also has more and greater features.
