Hi All,
it's already out on the market the phone. I talking about Czech Republic, of course don't know how as it's still not officially out, but it's here. I had it my hands for a while but would say that the display is not good at all. Don't know about the direct sunlight as I was inside a building, but the quality of the Icons under the fast start application menu was not good. I would say also pretty heavy.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 does not have a HD screen however,visibility under direct sunlight is very good and it does not suffer the same problem with looking at the screen in the sunlight as it did with the ol HTC Touch Pro

Can somebody comment whether the display on the screen is visible under direct sunlight? I could not see the display clearly even after adjusting its brightness with my old HTC pda phone. Thanks.

touch pro 2 aka the fortress???? for AT&T??!! :( and here i was waiting for t-mobile to pick it up so i can renew my contract....(the pic shows the HTC branded for t-mobile).

Regarding a lock I dont think it has one but you can download one for free from a couple of sites.

The new improved Touchflo is smoother than HD. I think the TP2 is going to be a big hit. I know that several networks in the USA are awaiting its launch.

I am not that bothered about quality photos, it just seemed an annoying omission not to have a flash on an other wise decent bit of kit. I cannot fathom the point of not making it as good as possible.

I had an Omnia which basic... moreLike most windows mobiles the camera is fairly bad. At night or under poor light its bloody awlful. However if you want quality photos I suggest buying a small digital camera which will always be better than the best camera phone.
I would imagine that most people who use windows mobile do not have the camera top of there list of required features.
