DDDDUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Speak for yourself bro, video and flash is not a necessity in the business world... Internet, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and a PDF reader is what's vital!

This phone doesnt offer it cause its not important for business folks thats why there are other brands u can choose from...

My problem with HTC is that they continually insist on disrespecting current standards. No 3.5mm input, no VGA@30fps, no flash is simply a slap in the face of the modern businessman. These phones have evolved to become multifunctional devices. There has been an all pervasive revolution. If HTC cannot grasp this fact they will ultimately lose to companies that are prepared to implement contemporary standards. Those of you who state that this is a business device have misunderstood the revolution which states that the mobile phone has become a multifunctional device in which the individual features in high-end phones reach contemporary standards. The modern standard for a high-end phone with a camera is to implement a reasonable flash. HTC by not implementing a flash at all, are calling their customers fools. HTC ie Hi Tech Computing: do they know that a digital camera is a type of computer??

First and foremost (phew.. let me stay with in the 'Posting Rules' !!) I think HTC has done a wonderful job on their Pro 2.
Compared with the iPhone, Pro2 seems to have an edge in various aspects. (QWERTY slide out keyboard, Dedicated keys, Windows driven etc, just to name a few)
I have been reading alot of reviews and watched alot of 'hands on' videos, and I think this can very easily be 'The Phone of the year 2009', provided it falls into the more affordable slot/category of smart phones.
I am looking out for its launch, and need to infact get my hands on two phones. My Gf loves it as well !

I genuinely believe that WinMo is the most powerful OS available on market by far. I've used O2 WinMo before. I liked it, but the afair didn't last long. I think WinMo is more for the ppl who likes their phone to act like a laptop (I have a good PC laptop). I personally think a phone should be more of a fun way of communication. I personally look for quick response from phone, WiFi with full international language support, good txting interface. Hence I ended up with my Iphone. I really don't like Apple products, but it suited my needs. Guess we all have different needs....

kURT, 08 Mar 2009You know what i dont get? why is it that people say Iphone ... moreYou're absolutely right, in most cases the people that complain about WinMo haven't had much experience with it, they're just repeating something they read somewhere written by some other fool who has no idea... haven't you wondered why people buy Macs when PC's are so much more customizable? it's because they're usually not computer literate enough to work things out for themselves - they just want something that tells THEM what they can and can't do, like sheep (oh, and they want the shiny, pretty computer/phone instead of the one that is more functional but not trendy).

You are trying to take advantage of a supposed 5 mega pixel chip through a lens that costs pennies! If you take a 3 mega pixel camera using a quality lens and compare it to a 5 mega pixel phone the camera will win every time. It's basic laws of physics, you cannot use a crap medium (the lens) and expect the output to be any good. I could set any of my digital cameras to 2 mega pixels and they would provide a better photographic image than any 5 mega pixel camera. They would be focused correct colour tones etc whereas the camera would have flare, lack of image focus, poor colour, poor tone etc.
As many people on here have already said. It's a business phone first and a camera is an extra. Get a digital camera if you want to take photos..period!

You know what i dont get? why is it that people say Iphone or Symbyan better than WinMo? I mean u can do MUUUCCHH more with a WinMo device than the others... You can even mimick a Iphone, Android or Simbyan UI on a WinMo device but not vice versa with others! You can do so much with WinMo... Endless possibilities i say, the only program i say has or can beat WinMo is the Android... Period, matter of opinion so dont get emotional people lol

But flash would be nice for BUSINESS, like taking picture of a paper instead of scanning it, well you don't need it at daylight but at the evening room light makes very bad photos.
But still i do agree no flash is not that much bad. I would still buy this pone, if it was availible right now, but i am not w8ing.
It is shame though that there is no high-end multimedia/business phone with 3.5" screen and qwerty.
Are we, who need qwerty realy that few!!!

You seem more concerned about camera and its pixels then get one of those entertaining phones with high mega pixels!

Can it allow the image to be correctly focused and take advantage of the supposed multi-mega pixels? Somebody had it right when they said "get a digital camera" if you want to take photos. It could be 20 mega pixels but with the crappy little lenses they fit it will be a complete waste of time.
Yes, I am a professional photographer before some smart a**e geek makes a comment!!

If you do get one I think you m... moreWell SE still earny more on X1 than HTC, lot more. But that was not my point anyway.
And you must hate all mobile phones to say i will regret X1. Couse ANYBODY who likes HTC Pro,Pro2, will like XPeria ANYBODY, and vica versa.
No exceptions, gues why? They are almost identical, it is only choce which styling/size you prefer, everything else is the same.
So if you think Xperia bad you are talking bad about Pro and Pro2 too...
I just realy like the competiton, HTC made nothing new from Tytn 2. It was SE, SOmsung, LG windows mobile phones, that made him finaly made normal WM phones. Tytn2 and Pro have same tehnology inside, so they could have made Pro 2 years ago, they just didn't have to make it, couse they were the only one in WM business, that is why Wm phones had bad cameras, no finger friendliness and soo on.
Touch Flo3D would not surfaced for 5 years, if not for cometition.
