ive got the HTC Touch Pro, and i tawt Yaaaay, but wait only bigger screen?? not yaaaaay, very dissapointing. think im going back to Samsung,(the new projector Phone looks wicked)

i agree man only the screen gets uplifted and same old story but anyways i think this is the highest resolution a phone has offered

It's not, what most of us expected. The only positive thing here is the great screen and maybe the zoom bar and here I stop.
All we have basis to compare with the expected new releases of Toshiba, SonyEricsson etc. and it comes clear for us that it is possible to fit some more and better technologies. For example better processor, more RAM,(not sure fot the graphic card), personally for me FM transmitter - radio.
Of course it is needed battery with higher capacity for that, but I consider the weight will be not much more.
And at the end of my review :), I could conclude that the brand HTC will succcumb the good position that the guys from HTC won last year. I hope I wrong and HTC will change the dark trend!

Wait for this HTC touch pro2 to launch 1st...
That time, touch HD will be way affordable...
And you can select touch HD happily...
It's your call anyway...

Come on... HTC!! you made those Xperia and now you lauch a new product
just for compete with Xperia. do more my friend...!!!
more tech, more design, more cheap etc....

It barely is a phone at all!(as a former iphone user I KNOW its phone capabilities are mediocre at best!) Maybe when you grow up you'll understand what a real smartphone/PocketPC is... Cheers!

Our company are pulling Blackberry due to cost and I've been issued a Motorola Q9 on Windows Mobile which I'm finding a real dog to operate compared to the Blackberry when used as a phone in my car. I'm really looking for user experience when used in a car as a phone via Bluetooth/handsfree. Q) how easy is it to see/access either speed dial, select from contacts list etc? Any experiences appreciated

Another question: I have certain programs on my computer (for dietician´s use and so on) can I install it on this phone?
I asume that it´s possible to read pdf files, but is it possible to create word, excel and pdf files on the phone?

What is the difference between GPRS Class 10 and 32?
I think the "architecture" of this phone is great. The screen resolution doesn't get any higher for mobile phones.
A word of advice to HTC. One has to sell enough devices to stay in business.
If HTC want to sell more devices they should implement a 5MP cam with flash and VGA camcording. Their devices would simply be much more attractive. Let's face it! The phone has a music player and a video player so it is clearly not meant to be solely for business. The market has changed from 3 years ago. People want a bit of entertainment along with their business meal!

The HTC pro2 has a qwerty keyboard and a microsoft word viewer. Does this mean there may be a chance of being able ot write documents on the phone?
