Not sure what some of the fuss is about but to clarify a few things. The start up of any windows phone beats any phone on the market today hands down! I can use my trophy ( data, calls and text.) starting around 8am and my battery will last until 6pm without a single charge. The phone is incredibly fast. once you learn it's timing sequence. By far the best phone I've ever owned. Never again will I own an Android as long as Windows is on the market!!!

this phone is truly a trophy, stands to its title so well, like a delicious young man. fresh from war, battle wounds and pride. courage of a strong, bulging delight. I am so happy to have played with this phone extensively. more than the creators. more than the length of this universe. I heard there are more planets imaginable to your mind when you access this phone is three ways. 1. the man, the soldier of delight. 2. the woman, the soldier of desire. 3. the communication between the universe, my face & the greatest trophy of all. windows phone 7 is better than iOS,it has a very good user interface.

The OS is rigid and does not have an exciting, fun edge to it. The square icons are too clinical and feels like hard work using the device. Too few apps. Think I'll hand mine back at work and stick to Android.

very...very...very...slow to start up. lets face it that's no surprise it is windows. Completely rubbish power consumption...I charge mine TWICE DAILY ...YES TWICE. It's definitely a huge step up from my old samsung F480 but I am not impressed with the windows OS maybe like every other Windows OS in 3 years time when they bring out a new glitchy OS this one will have been updated to a nice usable form. Think I will Ebay mine and buy a desire or evo 3d because I am impressed with HTC specs just not the windows OS. Don't make my mistake to try windows pick a good android OS based phone it's a much safer bet and may save you some headache. PS mine took a full hour to update for the first time (22 microsoft minutes) and then crashed every time I turned it on until I updated it again...after that it was stable though. also this phone does not support custom ring tones :( how 1990's. In conclusion STICK WITH TRIED AND TESTED DONN"T BUY A WINDOWS PHONE YET, THEY WILL GET BETTER SO JUST WAIT AS I WISH I HAD.

...a very good phone: sharp,fast and easy to work with it.the only thing i dont like : the button camera on the right side does not have a very good position,you can open the camera accidentaly too easy!

I want HTC to make a device that has basically the best hardware on the market running WP7. HTC make great products so they need to come out with something awesome.

How do i set .mp3 songs as my ringtone on this phone. I am able to play the songs but there is no option to set them as ringtones...please help

there is something new ... the chipset, so we have the 1ghz qualcomm second edition here, which is more power efficient.

al wp7 phones are great .. but in all the info pages about them on gsmarena are big mistakes .. for example they all have mkv support at video formats ... i dont see there elementary information like all WP7 from wp 7.0-7.07 at the moment run @ DirectX 9 ... this phone like all other wp will be great ..
