This is indeed a unique phone in many ways.
For just £499, this phone has a very respectable SoC (Snapdragon 7 Gen 1), 12 GB RAM, has 15W wireless charging, possesses IP67 water and dust resistance, and unbelievably BOTH a microSD SDXC 3.0 slot (≤ 256 MB) AND a 3½" audio jack.
No other phone this powerful and feature-rich has either a microSD slot or an audio jack – the HTC U23 Pro has BOTH.
This is a must-have phone for the price-conscious folks.

Was thinking it's perfect to get it as a work phone but after the price conversion then I'm good no thanks. What the duck is happening 570 euro for such spec? Inflation is hitting hard! Anyways good luck HTC.

Already haters coming in droves. Change the HTC logo to some Chinese maker's logo and the very same people would be drooling over this phone. Sad people.

Midrange for 570 euros ..sure I can buy 2 no 3 oppo a94 5g. Or 2 a52s. Or a phone and a Nintendo switch or a phone and a tablet....NO GOOD LOOKS GOOD ON STATS BUT NOT PRICE

Nothing PRO in this phone....what's HTC thinking? Where is the selling point? How HTC attracts buyers on this phone? I just don't get it, HTC marketing team.

This phone looks good at first sight. But once you spotted the plastic back and the 2 fake-camera-lenses at the back you know what's going on.
Even the camera examples of the main 108mp shooter they posted on their own HTC Homepage look bad.
Just to be clear about this. This phone is more expensive than a Pixel 7a, Pixel 7, Nothing phone 1 and 2, Galaxy A54, Sony Xperia 10 V (even has tele lense). PLUS you don't know if it will ever gets updates.
HTC what happened to you. It's just sad.

Looks not too bad (except for the colours but that's only according to my liking). It will be a decent mid-ranger but knowing HTC from the past it might also be too expensive (and probably hard to find in store as the brand almost completely vanished from EU markets). A bit the same issue as for Sony devices, certainly not bad devices but too expensive for what you get.

Fantastic looking phone from htc (really gives that old school sophisticated htc look) but I think they dropped the ball putting a plastic back on a u series (keep that for the desire).

I would consider this if my phone breaks , For now I have a Poccophone (F1), actually I like it, never felt the need to replace it, never disappointed me. so in case of a dead phone I consider this one, miss being a HTC owner
