I wish for HTC to come back. This phone looks good, has good cameras on paper. But why does they use the SD 7 Gen 3? I don't say it won't be enough, but the SOC is the main reason (besides cameras) to pick a phone. They should just bring one major flagship that cost less than the competition and I'm sure they will turn heads. but not like this.

The problem about Sammy models is sometimes it's hard to tell which one is which.

This would be such a great phone if HTC actually supported this phone for a couple years, if it had an unlockable bootloader (like older HTC's), and had some of the cool quirks HTC sense had. I love HTC but I think that they could make this phone even better.

Most phones around the price have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, just a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Motorola put the same SoC as this phone on the Edge 50 Pro, but that is a €799 phone without both headphone jack and microSD card slot. €550 thereabout for this phone is a solid price.

Even today's midrange-tier SoCs can give a decent mobile gaming experience. It's even better if the phone has USB3 with wired video output, which LG did with the 2020 Velvet 5G and Motorola put on the 2024 Edge 50 Pro.

I received the phone at the end of June. I successfully registered for the gift on the official website. It's very good. Compared with U11+, it lacks some convenient functions, such as the ability to customize the home screen, quick screen shutdown and screenshot, etc. I'm not used to it. The camera function of U24 is much better than that of iPhone15. The color and detail of the screen display are very good, and it also has a three-dimensional sense. The curved screen is inconvenient to use. The visual, typing and operation of the curved part are not ideal. In addition to the aesthetics, I don't want the curved surface.

it's annoying how most commentors in this thread and on this site in general are obsessed with flagship processors and think a phone is only relevant if it is high-end. it's such a ignorant view of what makes a device good for everyday tasks and misrepresents the importance of budget and accessible tech.

This device has fairly nice specs, a solid all-rounder for a mid ranger but, not at that price. Ideally they would have released this model at least a $100 cheaper and then it would have knocked off several of the competition, considering that it has the microsd suppport AND headphone jack.
