Huawei sells 2 million nova 5 smartphones in a month

Huawei unveiled its nova 5 series on June 21with three phones taking the stage. It was also the official debut of the new chipset Kirin 810 that should power many upcoming midrangers by the company.

Just five weeks after the event, Huawei announced it already sold 2 million units of the nova 5 smartphones. It includes the nova 5i, nova 5, and nova 5 Pro; the newest addition with four cameras nova 5i Pro was launched on Friday, so it is sitting out this milestone.

The announcement from Huawei arrived following its fourth consecutive weekly flash sale and only includes only phones from the Chinese market - we are yet to see any nova 5 device escape the domestic scene.

The next flash sale of the four nova 5 phones, including the nova 5i Pro, is scheduled for August 2. They will be available, as usual, on Vmall.com and JD.com.
