I would get this phone over the One X if it wasnt for the looks...no originality and nowhere near as good as One X.

Quadcore are common now a days, opening files and aplication and gaming in android OS is advantageous the more cores the more advantages, sometimes i hate experiencing a laggy games.

Yeah, hopefully this would be under $300!! Lots like a good phone, hope it wouuld be avaliable in Australia soon and at the mobile stores! e.g Allphones :p

IPS stands for in-plane switching. An IPS-LCD is a type of thin display that offers better viewing angles than TFT-LCDs. IPS-LCDs feature two transistors for each pixel, where TFT-LCDs use just one. This requires a more powerful backlight, which delivers more accurate colors, and allows the screen to be viewed from a wider angle. The downside is that an IPS-LCD may consume more power than a TFT-LCD.
IPS-LCDs typically are found on high-end cell phones and portable devices. Apple's iPhone and iPad both feature IPS-LCDs, as does the Motorola Droid.

Art002, 23 Mar 2012wrong specification about 8 GB ROM -> ROM is a bios memo... moreROM is read-only memory. To be honest, ROMs these days are EEPROMs which allows reprogramming of the ROM. ROMs exists in many places than just PC motherboards, they exist in video game consoles, TV set top boxes, tablet computers, microwaves, cell phones and anything electronic will require at least a ROM for it to boot up its firmware.
Hardware without software is just a set of blinking lights.
