Teh Ascend D Quand will be remembered as the most failed press release ever. I think it is more than 6 months that was announced (WMC 2012) it and it is still not out!

was really wanting this phone but taking far too long.. its going to be too late for this to do well on the market as im sure there are alot of people like me that dont want to wait any longer and have grabbed something else...
the d series should have been released months ago as initially suggested
apparently starts shipping october! glad i didnt wait
btw the ascend d quad xl is far too heavy and thick front to back.. would stick with the d quad

I live in China for long time and notice that China is going to make quality products under Chinese brands. I have been enjoying quality Chinese products for long time and almost forgot those poorly-built, unworthy brands from the West.

HuaWei Ascend D quad XL with its 2500mAh battery is my interest. Presumably it comes with NFC. NFC is a big MUST these days.When will be avaible in EU?
