I got the phone a few days ago and I can say that it is amazing in short:
— Pros
The screen is good (since its HD), but it's not amazing;
The performance, as a matter of fact, is good, you can actually play games like Asphalt 8 and Injustice with no problems but the low RAM and clock speed will reveal itself at times (not in the games exactly that is, but on the daily use);
Both cameras are good and I believe the front camera will surprise you (since the quality is really good). The main camera will assure decent photos at all times (the flash works really good so night photos are a guarantee);
All do the battery as a 2000mah capacity its pretty good, Im the kinda of person who leaves the house in the morning, uses the phone as an mp3 player (by the way good listening quality), takes snaps of everything (mostly Snapchat and Facebook) and keeps the 4g on most of the time and I can get back home with at least 20 or 30 percent (NOTE: Believe me I tried I can not do this with an Iphone).
— Now the cons
Well the screen as no protection and you can actually FEEL IT, as soon as you buy it you need to purchase a screen cover or your doomed;
The low Ram will show its effects at times (probably because of the fact that it actually has 900Mb and not 1Gb);
The phone as 4Gb available instead of 8 or even 5 (like other phones), its ridiculous, you immediately have tho buy an SD card;
The plastic build may be a "No!!No!!!" for some but I dont mind it at all (I think it's cool actually) but its not comfortable and it doesn't feel good in one hand, At All!!!;
It doesn't lock on 4g the way it does with 2 and 3G if you have low internet connection and you use 4G you will.experience some substantial problems.
In my opinion if you are on a budget you should definitely buy it and this is my testimony by the way I bot it in Portugal

The only priblem G629S has is that even factory default uses more than 500MB RAM. And original specs say it has 1GB but it has not more than 900MB. And even though it has 8GB only 4 are free to use being 4GB reserved for system when other android 4.4 devices reserve less than 2.5GB leaving more than 5.5GB free for us. Too much huawei NON UNINSTALLABLE shit software. A 64bit cpu that uses a 32bit android that huawei won't update to lollipop (64bit android) not allowing us to use the cell's full potential.
Never going to buy a Huawei phone again. GREAT POTENTIAL SCREWED BY SHIT SOFTWARE

+ points - very nice phone. extremely easy to use. very good power saving features. - CONS - various unwanted apps are constantly on and even if turned off by the app control setting the apps restart (the apps are nothing to do with running the phone and are completely unneeded for example i never ever use the fm radio but it is always running and no matter how many times i go into apps and turn it off it restarts as do many other completely unneeded apps -this uses up battery power and slows phone having apps running constantly in background that cannot be stopped. - it is possible to DISABLE APPS and i have disabled all the languages i dont speak and all the screensavers and i have disabled about 100 apps to stop them running and this makes the phone MUCH FASTER and battery life HUGELY IMPROVED which then makes the phone very nice as a phone - there is one big problem- ini the NETWORK SETTINGS it is not possible to set the phone to LTE/3G - the only option is LTE/3G/2G which means that the internet is constantly going fast then mega slow then fast them mega slow as the phones modem constantly searches between LTE and 3G and 2G - - the phone SHOULD have been designed with a setting where a person can select the network band they want to use - it should have been designed so the useer can set it to 4G only - but the only options are -PREFERED MODE 4G/3G/2G- or - 3G/2G - or - 3G Only -----there SHOULD be a 4G SETTING only but there is NOT. so it is NOT POSSIBLE to set the huawei to 4G only to tether a laptop or to get fast youtube. if in a signal area with 4 bar signal strength this does not matter but in a 1 bar signal strength area the phone will "get confused" if it should go to 4G or 3G and so it jams the internet and the only option i have is to set it to 3g only all the time as when set to PREFERRED NETWROK MODE 4G3G/2G the phone goes so slow on the internet that i actually went and bought a sony xperia e3 as a 2nd phone and now carry 2 phones -the xperia e3 for tethering to a laptop as the xperia can accept the *#*#4636#*#* code and can be set to 4G only which gives very fast internet and while the huawei g620s cannot accept the *#*# codes and so cannot be set to 4G only - i emailed huawei 6 times in 2 months and phoned them for 80 minutes and talked to technnical support and they will not give out the *#*# code to lock a huawei to 4G only - which means the phone is VERY VERY NICE except in a low signal area where it will get "confused" switching between 4g and H+ and H and end up jamming the internet so its slower than a 3g phone. - if you live in a very strong signal area the phone is very nice but in a low signal area or if you need 4G i suggest a sony xperia that you can type in the secret android *#*#4636#*#* code and set it to 4g only as doing that on my sony xperia e3 gives 5megabit connection and 1200k downloads speeds while my huawei is giving 50k and often completely locking as it constantly tried to choose between selecting 4G and h+ and h and 3g siognals which makes it jam and give almost no internet at all. - - hope this is of help.

lags are starting to show up... some small problems with Wi-Fi, also problem with GPS... always lost connections... and some other small things... still happy to have it, but little by little, I am starting to show nervoise... cheers

Brilliant phone. I had iPhone 5, LG G2, Samsung 4, all good. Huawei though is nice to hold, feel and it is light. Can do whatever smartphone on the market can do. I just love, love, love it!!! Highly recommended.

Had this phone 4 weeks now, best choice ever, fantastic phone no lag, handles any game so far, battery life is great, this was an upgrade to my Samsung s3
