After more than 2 yrs of using this phone on stock and CM13 ROM's I can say this phone is more than good. All this time I was wondering only one think... "why Huawei doesn't like his buyers?" Stock update is worst on planet, there are versions of software that cannot be updated. It looks like once they take money they don't care about that product. There are plans for CM14 (android 7.1) and they are almost done but Huawei still sits on 5.1?!?!?! I hope so that Huawei will notice that this part of mobile industry (software support) is important and finally do that at least good as Samsung.

I bought the phone two years ago, and recently intalled the Marshmallow update posted on the official Huawei's website and it's running even better than with the kitkat and lollipop updates, solving most of the glitches and Bugs of the previous versions. I highly recommend everyone to install it, it's a shame there's no OTA version, but the process was very simple, just a heads up, apparently you have to install it in a factory reset fashion, so in order to keep your apps and all your information you gotta make a backup first. Also you have to come from the Lollipop update, so if you're still in the kitkat version, you Will have to download the Lollipop update and install it.

My g7 L-01 has problems with proximitycensor also not working double tap screen on,auto brightness.Many times trying with factory reset still same. Please someone could help. Sorry for english

I do have challenges with syncing onto the Wi-Fi at work not sure if it is the carrier I have or the phone itself.

mine is already two years and yes its a great phone. that's why i am again looking for a huawei unit with at least the same specs with G7.
