Ext2 partition should be 2GB instead of 1GB, the thing is that the system automatically store lot of data there and it is filled faster than main 1GB RAM, and when it comes to the end of space it starts to slow down the phone. With 2GB ext2 you can simply install as many apps as the main RAM allows it without slowing it down. I have 83 apps installed of all kind, and 200MB free left in the main RAM which is more than enough for good work. Another thing, you can UNLINK from ext2 any more demanding app in Link2SD and in that case it will be all on main RAM not EXT2, I needed that once, as there was some lag in one game. All the other apps are linked to ext2 with no lag whatsoever.

raycon, 04 Sep 2015can anyone tell me how much available storage for apps you ... moreDude, you can install as many apps as you want, you just need to create ext2 partition on your SD, and install LINK2SD app on rooted phone, and set it up as instructed. As I said, you have to root your phone first. I am now having like 2GB app storage, dozens of apps installed and absolutely no slowing down of my G740 phone. I am not sure I am able to leave links here, but just google this: "Tutorial: Complete Guide on How to Use Link2SD" and do exactly as instructed. However you have to partition your SD first, you have to take it out of your phone and plug it in via adater or something, and use GPARTED linux program, to create FAT32 as first, and EXT2 (size 1024MB) as second partition, both partitions set to be primary. And of course you have to root your phone first, it is very simple just google "root g740 xda developers" and do exactly as instructed. Cheers!

Good bright and clear big screen. Good battery. 4G. Now the concerns. GPS looses signal all the time and sometimes not waking up if gps programm is started. Camera is poor. 8 Mpx-s of blurry grey images even if very customizable camera app with settings of light and focus are used for the best result. This phone is good for user with needs of internet surfing, calling and some gaming but thats it.

I bought it for only 121€ (on discount) and it is great. The only problem is the memory :( ... I also wish it had Android 4.4.2 or above :( Hope it gets an update soon.
