The device is great, very fast, almost faster than my Galaxy Note II, the display is HD and very clear, the camera is amazing and the phone is very clear. The issues I'm having is that the device keep restarting on its own almost once a week, also the Bluetooth is not functioning properly, not sure if there is a problem in my handset or this is common in all Mate.

GSMarena, please tell the huawei manufacturer to produce ascend mate with 2g ram, this is what we want. we don't want 1g ram which will slow the phone after app are installed. i wanna buy this phone but I am reluctant due to my experience in using huawei with 1.5g ram. D8950, when i installed few apps, the phone sucks. I will only like to buy ascend mate with 2g ram

this phone has no 2gb RAM, i went window shopping today to check on this phone, all i met were RAM 1gb, which might slow down the phone when apps are installed. make the research carefully well

I bought this phone today for 429 at harvey norman in queensland australia. I Wasnt to sure about buying this phone because i.had never heard of the brand before. To be honest when i went to turn it on for the first time when i got home i wasnt excited. That was 9 hours ago and i cant seem to put it down. My partner has a samsung s4 and wants to swap hahaba no friggen way this phone is way above the rest and holly shit the internet is quick love everything about this phone. Well thats my opinion anyway so go buy one and see for yourself....

Hi all,
Am from India and I've owned a mate last week and It satisfies my needs.But am getting battery back up of 12 hrs only.Am using in 2G Only mode and data switch will be off most of the times.and I'll be on call about 6 hrs during the time..
When I checked with the retailer,but he told that the phone may take about 5 recharges to get the full performance of the battery but after the same, still am facing the issue.My friend, getting 2-3 days of back up for his mate
Anybody faced this issue..?
I've installed battery doctor and charging as per the instructions written in battery doctor ..But still the issue...
