You have enlighten me sir. we won't be able to see the difference 1080p makes on a 5" screen. More pixels means more drain. Just like other figures having a 441 ppi is nothing but marketing gimmicks.

Why is everyone on here harking on about 1080p resolution, for god's sake you don't need it. Huawei have been sensible here, they have the right combination of big screen and the correct resolution together with excellent display in the form IPS+ lcd. None of you understand that you are not going to achieve anything by having a 1080p resoltion, it's so silly, all this will do is drain the battery alot quicker. 1080p should be left to the 7" tablets and above, nothing below, look at monitors, nothing under 20" is full hd and they use the same technology as on these smartphones. All you need to make sure is that the display is clear and viewing angles are good and this IPS+ will do both very well. Please don't waste your money on these stupid 5" 1080p smartphones you will regret it later when you end up recharging it 3 times a day.

could be the best phone compared with canvas 3 , samsung galaxy grand, main draw back is the price 30,000 is too much compared to micromax canvas 3 is 15000 half of its price with more or less the same spec.my suggestion to Huawei should definately reduce the price if it wants to be a best selling phone under this heavy competitors samsung.

I love the form factor of this phone, and I'm willing to give Huawei a go after being samsung and HTC for so long, but 6.1" and only 720p?

look at "pandawill.com-to much similar chines phones for 200dollars.only price will be big for huawei-maybe650 dollars.no way to pay this money for chines phone.for example here i europe in this moment is on sale "prestigio 5000"-5" display 840x480resolution-look bright whit natural colors,good video 720p for front camera,good 5mpx picture whit flash,2sim cards.i had tested yesterday-not bad -cortex a9 dual core,but only 512ram/not big minus -I"m not a gamer/ and 2300mah battery-but price is litle big for cnhines phone-300dollars.if the price will drop to250dollars after 3 months-i will buy it.attention is not possible for asia-the company is in cypres/europe/ based and maked "prestigio" for european and russian marked but spare parts is similar like many budgets chinese brands in "panda will.com".maybe somebody will say yes but "huawei" is good brand with name -I"M not sure becouse my friend whit p1 model had much problems and dispay are terrible whit bad colors-blue -purple.

Micromax and Huawei. No Quality compare. Huawei quality is much higher then Micromax.

john, 16 Jan 2013i think the resolution must be 1080p.. please re-check your... moreunfortunately it's just a 720p display with a larger screen unlike the Ascend D2 with 1080p with a smaller display, resulting in super high ppi

Good specs & design but Huawei phone prices should be 20 percent less than the leading smartphone (Samsung, HTC, Sony, Nokia, etc..) if they want to sell more.
