Hi folks, i have an Ascend Mate 2 and it heats up very quickly specially when placing call so i can't even put the phone next to my ear. Can someone help please? Thanks!

gsmarena please do something to detect every device that is used to post reviewws and name of device should be at top of any post bekos im shure alot of user do not own phones they review

I bought Hw ascend mate version 1 on 21 Nov 2013,Now Here Bad/ good news about mate... (now 10 months old )
Camera pics back/front- Generally Good but not best better Camera phone.. has Yellow color face looking, light but bit blur, white dots in dark and bit purple color, bit dark white blur in day light..not very clear and colorfully results.. front has only 1Mp no flash So very bad pics VDo..
Camera Vdo back/front- best Hd and full quilt y is fine..
Flash light - yellow color flash not day lightly , no front flash...
internet speed- good not best
game/Vdo Speed- best
Download Speed- good
Sound music- best Dolby
Ring sound-good but not high level sound
Caller sound-good mid sound
touch speed-good
Capacity- total 8gb but only (4GB for user)
screen quilt y resolution- Very good Screen
home Scree rotate- no
sound loud speaker- good
Os- Good upgradable to 4 2 2 (but not official)
Weight- bad ,uncomfortable to small hand. but i am tall has big hand for bear it...
Screen Size- good
body type- good simple decent looking and screen has gorilla glass good view and no scratches..
ram speed-good
date cable usb speed- good
chip set- Out of date but good
processor- Good
radio sound- good
card slot- up to 64 good
network- good but only 3G
Sim- only micro Sim

price- Mid range but OK...
At last - its suitable for internet and game play..
use it carefully. its good big mobile phone tablet to tall big guy who has big hands. but bad weight..uncomfortable to denim pockets... and not found cases in Asian country.. not official case for it..
To be continue for an other issues.. i am coming again with massage about mate....currently not bad worse issues ....

I bought my Huawei Ascend Mate in march and faced a mayor gps problem,my phone didn't have a clue were I am. In May i've sended it in to the Huawei service centre. They did a hard reset but this didn't help at all. I've sended it back again to the service centre in July after 6 weeks I got it back. They said they replaced the motherboard, but the problem only got wors. Huawei says they can't fix the problem and I got a complete refund.

Ze, 20 Aug 2014i Have this phone,this is good Running but now i don't know... moreProbably some bad application : uninstall one application by one and test (see what application is constantly running in background, or when it crashes), or factory reset the phone. Try also to wipe applications cache. Good luck.

My play store was working alright but after reseting i can no longer sign in to my playstore. It keeps giving me the error "Can't establish a reliable connection from the server. This could be a temporary problem or your Android device may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues,call Customer Care". i am using huawei ascend 510-0100.

i Have this phone,this is good Running but now i don't know whats problem,every hour its Restart or Reset.
am very hate this Problem.some body knows whats problem this?

Just baught this fon for a week now.no issue for me.everything works well.playstore,maps,fb,whatsapp n everything else.battery life really good.quite heavy usage from 6am and still have 30% left before i get to sleep around 10pm.the only issue for me is the os.4.1.1.really old os.and the max we can upgrade only to 4.2.2 and still no update until now in malaysia.but its worth for its price.u want more so go for other
fon with higher spec n higher price.

huawei ascend mate recently purchased...everything ok but wifi not connnected i will try to factory install but not connected, top of the screen wifi picture not display, and alrady switch button on (disable) not functioning disable on setting.. please tel me anyone how rectifying my problems.....i can pay more money in 6.1 inch screen please anybody tel me...thanking you...

HUAWEI service not good. I send my phone to repair under warranty already 2 months still pending part. What such "good" services provide to customer?! I really dissapointed to their customer care... They are wasting my warranty already and their service need customers to keep on chasing and follow up with their staff and give fart promise to customer as well...!!?

They are on sale for 1299rmb in China right now, a little over $200USD. One of few phones that works with TMobile/Wind 1700/2100AWS 3G. No google playstore, tried downloading from Huawei appstore but doesn't work. Brings up "play store stopped" right away. Why can't the Chinese make a phone that works with google playstore? It's my 2nd Chinese phone with this problem. Will have to either buy the tiny Nexus 5 or save up for Z Ultra. Don't want to pay the gouge 3G prices of Robelus!!!
PS. Does anyone know of a dual-sim standby TMobile/Wind compatible AWS phone???

I bough the phone a month after it was released
It's really fantastic, the price is afordable comparing to simillar phones and it has nothing less tan them i have worked with both samsung galaxy note 3 , mega and sony xperia z and at the end i prefer my mate to all of them
You can do whatever u want with this phablet with no problems
The only problem with the phone is the sound volume which is low at the maximum volume

Am in Jamaica an am using the huawei ascend mate however I find at times am unable to browse or use what's app etc. I am a custom to seeing h now am seeing r can anyone tell me what is happening?
