Anonymous, 12 Mar 2013I have been using P1 for 4 months, and tons of apps in the ... moreHad same problem with heat. Lowered screen brightness to just below half and it sorted the problem. Have not had it disconect data connection since. Phone still bright even if tuned down.

Had this phone since Nov 2012. Notice phone got very warm when using navigation or games. When i lowered the screen brightness this seem to resolve the issue. Phone still is bright even though i tuned it down to below half brightness.

I had concerns as Huawei are a (relative) unknown, and this is a budget (though high spec) phone.
I have an Xperia Z myself and have bought this as a gift. Having used it a fair amount (in setting it up for the technophobe recipient), i can say it is an awesome phone. I would happily have one myself. The screen is lovely and bright, it's operation is slick and smooth, and the body (build quality) is perfectly acceptable. Good job Huawei. :)

Huawei South Africa told me so, they said because ''the Hardware doesn't meet proper spces of JellyBean''... kinda sad hey, but it's still a good phone regardless.
