great fone again,been using it 1 week now no complaints except 1.....sound level. Even at maximum its barely what i call loud. it must be a software glitch cause whan i made a viber call while playing music,right after the call the volume goes very loud...the call has to be answered...try it.

I bought this phone a few days ago and all I can say this phone is "POWERFULL!" I paid R2000 For it at edgars, but it is really worth mutch more R5000 R6000 or more.

I just bought this phone a few days ago...its a really amazing phone, everything so smooth n fast..and I tried already for videocall almost one hour with skype and no lag at all..I also have SG note II. compare with note II for browsing n youtube,its almost the same speed, note II a little little bit faster, but its reasonable because noteII's price is double price...so ascend P1 is a really amazing phone..you never regret to use this phone...good job Huawei.

Tell me is it worth it buying huawei I'm thinking of buying it 2day at Edgars I saw it for R2000,00 is it worth it I dnt knw what to expect in this phone cause I was thinking of getting the lumia 800 Bt a friend discourage me so I'm left with no option bt I would lyk to get the best advice on this device

As for the battery issue, it's been lasting for long on my side.

I must say I wanted an Answer from Blackberry and Galaxy and be Unique until I got a great deal and a half on this phone. with 8.1 Mega Pixel Camera (in HD I must Add) this phone is amazing. I give it 4.5/5 on download speed and immense quality as well as the features. the only proiblem I had and couldn't give it the 0.5 that it deserves is the sound quality when you play your music. Sadly it is not as loud as one would have wished. But I am a proud owner of one and don't know if the special is on at Edgars SA for R1999, but I still feel I was way undercharged

it's THE BEST high end android mobile given the lower price offer.
The qHD pixels look a bit blurred in the beginning but then you get used to. Onthe other hand, brightness and colors (esp. of video) are awesome.
It is comparable to any high end mobile like S3, OneX etc.

Just got this phone, its great. Everything soo smooth.
Only one thing to complain about, when using earplugs sound is very quiet. If im driving in a crowded bus or a tram i can hardly any music.
Tho i heard there are apps for volume increase, but you need to root it.
Other than that its a superb phone.
