I think the W2 has got a nice 'standard' look to it, especially amidst soul searching phone designs out there. I just wish Huawei had more options, this the standard and a top gun one with 1GB RAM and say 16GB internal memory. W1 was kind of me testing the waters of Huawei, having previously used a Lumia WP 7. W1 doesn't disappoint and now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Huawei might release a higher end WP next.

I find the W1 a great phone - it's all context. If you are paying £129 there are always going to be sacrifices. To me the W1 has a great battery life, quick enough web browsing and runs windows 8 smooth enough for my liking.

I guess most people would say the downsides are storage, camera and screen resolution. The reports on the w2 are pretty mixed with most saying the resolution is much lower than mentioned here and still the 5 mp camera.

I just hope the w2 doesn't replace the good points of the W1 to make way for others.

bankrobber, 01 Oct 2013It wasn't a disappointment, I actually find w1 a great phon... moreAgreed. To me its all in context- £130 for the W1, fast web browsing, 2 days easy for battery life, runs windows 8 smooth for me.

Always going to be compromises on such phones and I think storage is def one for lots of ppl, the camera another and possibly screen resolution- although im happy with mine.

Just hope the W2 adds to the W1 rather than replacing the good features!

They better increase that internal storage. 4gb isn't enough to power windows 8. Not when we can't install stuff on the SD card and no way to clear the other folder in the phone. Have to keep resetting my w1 every month so annoying.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2013Do you think people would still be interested with the huaw... moreIt wasn't a disappointment, I actually find w1 a great phone. Its the operating system that should be blamed.. Most if the apps freeze!! And got bugs

Windows Phone does not support 1024x768 pixels resolution, and that would mean 4:3 aspect ratio in any case, which is typically not used with such large displays. Furthermore, the image of the phone certainly does not show a 4:3 screen aspect ratio.

4gb internal storage is not enough, it will just give an available storage of approximately 1.5gb, and that available storage will just be occupied by the windows bug ("OTHER" on storage)and may reach up to 1.0gb, and if that happens, this phone will become useless.
Usable windows phone should have a storage of at least 64 gb.

good specs, but the big lack is internal storege of only 4 gb....moving app and games to sd card isn't supported.....

hope they just price it like huawei w1 at launch and reduce w1 price.

other than that they could give at least 8gb built in storage and lowr price
