To check whether or not a magnetic field sensor is present or not on the phone. Install androsensor application. This will also detect other sensors available on the phone.

Have rooted it, installed the un-branded version of Android, this phone is just great- speed and battery, nothing to complain about

Please correct the specifications. THIS PHONE HAS NO COMPASS. A bit disappointed since I only found out after I bought it, and it's specifically a function I'm after.

Guys, anybody tried Skype calls on it?, I bought the earlier model but couldn't use Skype for calling as is keeps cutting off
