Than double check all.... Otherwise manually transferring all, sorry to say.... :-)

If fingers are normally moist, simply slide back cover downwards by pressing anyhere on cover. There is a catch at the centre of the cover below the chrome strip and slight pressure here may help.

I have recently bought this phone and want to put my old sim card in to transfer my contacts but I can't get the back cover off the phone. Can anyone help?

Explorer is better than wildfire s because of arm version(arm v6 vs arm v7) and also has htc sense UI 3.5 while the later has 2.1 version. In terms of camra wildfire s beats explorer and also it is more beautiful (body is made of more fine materials and has corning gorilla glass protection). Xperia u is best bt is more expensive :)

SAAD, 10 Jan 2013Friends plzz suggest me Which phone is better to purchase??... more@ saad htc explorer is far better option... Galaxy y is totally cheap just 290 of ram although that has more processing speed i.e 832 than htc's 600 MHZ but that has no use for that ram. And also it also has low screen resolution (240by 320) and explorer(480 by 320) also galaxy y has low pixel density . It has 2mp camra nd explorer has 3.15 mp. Htc has arm v7 pro while that has arm v6.htc can run more apps like firefox... Etc. On the other hand y201 has advantage of android 4.0 over htc's 2.3 and has more internal memory. And a bit larger screen but i've heard that it doesnt hv gpu so hd games will have a no go.and also games restart while playing in huawei devices so I would u suggest go for explorer

I got this phone a week ago. Very satisfied with it.
Some of you are asking about the GPU. YES it DOES have a GPU, the Adreno 200. (Temple run and angry birds run fine, but newer games are laggy because the adreno 200 is a bit outdated)
The overall experience is very good. Everything is fluid and I haven't experienced any lag. (I use it mostly for internet and emails,sms etc)
Also the display features an IPS panel and is very clear and visible even in the lowest brightness setting.

zahid, 01 Jan 2013chip is msm 7227a 1ghz processor but clock speed in y201 is... morethanks very much.......but i m still confused as some sites says that it have msm7227a chip and some are saying that it has msm7225a chip and rest of other are saying that it has no Chipset or GPU.......at gsm arena there is also no info abt gpu or chipset but when i looked on wiki pedia for snapdragon chipsets it said that it has msm7225a chip as htc have........therefore i m still confused please tell me which phone should i buy htc explorer or this one.??.....i'll be thankfu to you for your help....:)
