To stop the phone from chewing your data bundles or airtime you have to remove some system app buy first rooting your Huawei y220-u00 using latest mobogenie's root app on pc. The app is google play(system). After rooting process remove the the app by using mobogenie's install manager.Turn off some settings
1. Settings->About->online Upgrade->Auto-check new
version (uncheck)
2. Settings->location->Use wireless networks(unchec
3. Settings->Accounts & sync->Background data & Auto-sync (uncheck all)
lastly uninstall mobogeinie app on phone after using app and voila. It worked on my Huawei y220-u00

It freezes always and jumps to apps I dont open and my musics and videos get corrupted can it be fixed please

i like this phone coz it doeznt freeze. what worries me is...it memory being so low as I am using a 2GB SD card. Hope it would be great when I try a 4gig.

The freezing etc. is a factory fault with the software from the factory, many people complain about it. my one does is continuously daily, rather irritating. There is no solution to the problem, except for buying another phone or returning the handset if still under manufacture warantee.

Can u please submit some answers with regards to the freeezing of the phone and self dialing etc because the only things u answer are with regards to phone wich uses data very quickly.surely disabling auto sync and background data is a solution to this problem however there are so many people tht wants to know wtf is wrong with the screen.is it a factory fault or is it software related?the least u can do is tell us wht is the real problem

I have this phone for a good few months now and i wouldn't even recommend this phone to my enemy. Do not waste your time and money for this junk, it is lower than a entry level smart phone.

Its a not bad BASIC phone.It can barely run some games.Good for a first phone.Buy it second hand-its 15 euros in my country XD.

Touch dont always work. Screen jumps to other apps. Have to lock and unlock screen 1st then it works for a moment. Can it be fixed? Or is that the reason the phone was free with the tablet. charlenerpieters@gmail.com

the phone cannot handle apps of 25MB & above so it can't even handle fb app and can't take 3D games
