I bought this phone as my P1 went in for repairs. works great for the price. Lets me at least stay in touch with social media. Cool to have as a bach-up/standing while waiting for my beloved P1.

Wow. I cant get some people. You pay R449= about 45 dollars for s phone that can do whats app/Facebook/has wireless 150mbs per second/21megs per sec internet.
Not to mention it has full touch screen ans rotation.
Steaming of video and that's only the start. Show me another phone that can do all these things for the price.If you cant get internet,you obviously changed your sin card.If you are in South Africa,settings for android are on all the service providers websites.
If you need a better camera go and buy a digital camera.This is the best phone i have ever seen for the price. If you need better specs, stop complaining and buy 1 with the specs you need.

Everyone who said "only 256MB RAM" and "Gingerbread in 2014, really?" - try to take USD 40 to the shop and see if you can come back with a better Android smartphone. Nope – you’ll come back with a “feature candybar” that requires degree in computer science to sync your Gmail contacts.
I'd say majority of the people don’t get a phone to make them espresso, or to brag about its gimmicky features to their friends. They use the phone to make calls /sms/whatsapp/email and/or GPS. This phone does it extremely well – and with ways more zest than its nearest single-core-but-double-the-price competitor.
