Goodevening, i'm writing from italy. Here, in some forums, many people write about network problems with this phone. I try to explain. It seems that sometimes the phone becomes no able to make and receive calls (but it receives sms for example). This happens with data connection (3g) enabled. To solve this problem you have to disable data connection or switch to 2g connection. Do you know something about this problems? Thank you and please excuse my english!

im looking to b... morethe problem (auto sms sending) can be solved without root also, follow the steps as i told in my earlier post.
My suggestion is if u had tight budget then without hesitate go for this phone coz it is far better than other all brands phone with this price range i.e samsung young samsung s duos sony experia E and E dual

Along with facebook, twitter, steam, whatsapp, google+, or whatever the hell you want, it's Android, there's an app for anything.

Huawei Ascend Y300 Automatic sms send problem :Resolved
Beside its all advantages there is a problem in device that its send daily an sms without u r confirmation
Basically it is huawei own application that send only single sms for u r product registration but due to fault this application is sending sms daily and charging u 1.50 rs for per sms in india.
when i first notice this problem i googled it and found that its sending sms to some huawei number then i called to customer care but they told me they were unaware about that but after few days they agreed that the this is mostly common problem and they suggested me to update firmware version which is available on their site here is the link

and as per guide and direction with my own efforts i updated my phone but problem remain unsloved means my balance was deducting for auto sms sending.
i became very irritate but this time i started monitoring device all process and after deeply monitoring the device process i came to konw that it is com.huawei.android.gpms application which is sending sms
Further i disabled the process or app com.huawei.android.gpms and result is success means daily automatic sms sending stopped
i think at present this is the only solution to automatic sms sending because firmware update is also not solving this problem
so if u want to stop daily automatic sms sending
go to > setting > all application > com.huawei.android.gpms > disable
as i researched on this whole process if anyone has question then they can reply to this comment

Here is my detail review about Huawei Ascend Y300
(i bought this phone one month ago)
1)the touch is very nice ,smooth and very responsive
2)screen resolution,clarity is also so good
3)GPS is working good
4)good signal receptor
5)Browsing is fast but in less 2G signal is very slow
6)1 Ghz Dual Core Processor and 512 MB RAM ...Temple run 2, Gta 3, Gangster Rio on this device without any single lag
7)Best battery backup with 1700 mah will give 2days of back up with daily average usage(But this phone is not meant for games beauze battery is drying very fast if u play games frequently)
8) Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 is really so smooth and fast with 1 Ghz Dual Core Processor and 512 MB RAM
some cons
1)sound is not loud..volume through the speakers is very low..But audio through loudspeaker is decent while using FM. Also clear via earphones.
2)auto focus is also not working well
Photos taken in dark environments using flash are very yellow tinted
3)Ba terry is drying very quickly only if u play games But without playing game it has very good backup
conclusion
Beside its minor drawback this phone is very awesome very nice and better than all other samsung sony Htc phones at this price.compared phones are
1)samsung young
2)samsung s duos
3)sony xperia E and E dual
4 htc etc etc
these brands is looting customers by providing low quality phone at this price range and above said phones are piece of shits.
THANKS TO HUAWEI FOR PROVIDING Y300 SUCH A GREAT PHONE AT THIS PRICE
(There are some minor drawbacks but at this price they can be neglected)

The auto-sending SMS problem has been solved by Huawei, the patch can be downloaded from Huawei's site under Support/Downloads. Hope other people having the same problem can fix that, this is a wonderful phone and hope the auto-sending SMS doesn't ruin your experience. Enjoy. :)
