i am using it more than 2weeks... its awesome.. it has also customer service centers in a.p also. camera is good enough. no lags. amazibg built quality. ringing volume is bad. net speed is good even in 2G. huewai is a international brand. not at all cheap chinese... it has been released in all country's one after another, bcz they got fab feedback from users.:-)

hii every1, I am planning to buy the phone... it is compared to Lg Optimus L7 !! 715 and which is costing almost double as this with the same specification..
Can u suggest me incase after sales service is needed than how will that be and shud i procure it online or from local shops..?

Hey guys.. am about to buy this phone.. but before i jus wanna know is its battery is removable or not.??? as in Huawei vision the battery is fix and permanent..guys tell me soon... and wt about its performance??

If you can get past your initial impressions of this phone being nodo-script (it isn't bad looking by all means, but sometimes some phones costing around the same amount ie. the Sony Xperia U and Samsung Galaxy Ace II, definitely have somewhat better designs), you will be in luck. Despite retailing for only NZD$ 400, this phone is packing some surprisingly good features. The 4 inch WVGA Screen is alright, as is the 5MP Camera and LED Flash, but the real thing that I found very good was the User Interface. Packing Android Jellybean meant that the 1GHz, dual-core processor ran with ease. Also, the Usability was second to none. At times the Emotion UI was annoying, but far worse than some blunders that other brands have had, besides the icons are USUALLY attractive and the Widgets are handy. Also, the thing that small brands usually do very well is putting amazingly advanced technology into very cheap phones. Other than the Jellybean UX, there is 5-finger multi-touch and Scratch resistant glass.
In Conclusion, if you want a good smartphone that you can tinker to your hearts' desire and aren't locked in the Windows Phone/Apple Eco-system yet, the Huawei Ascend Y300 is a very formidable option. Just remember that Parallel Import may be your only way to get it!

I found no REAL big issues with this phone. After biying first one 3days ago i bought another one for my wife today. We both love it. No other phone is near to this in current market at its price about $150. Samsung or other simillar brands are absolute robbers. I would never pay more than $250 for Slll compare to this one. If you dont need something very fancy but regular job, this phone is good enough.

Hey guys. I want to buy this phone, but I read that lots of you complaining about "low sound quality". Is that mean that speaker is weak, so you cannot hear when the phone is ringing, or music player has weak sound quality, and listening music on earphones is disappointment? I'm thinking to buy this one, or Sony Xperia Go... Pls answer me about music player sound quality, because that's the on of main reasons why I need phone... Thank you!
