hi, i was using my phone this morning and the volume botton started to freeze. i then switch the phone off and try to put it on again. the next the phone is showing a purple colour and it cant be switch off unless u take off d battery. please i need your help

Hi. When i call someone with my Y300 my mic stops and the person i called cant hear me. It happens after 15 seconds or more and i hear the caller. Pls help me any advice.

The phone is good for budget...i have been using it for six month..it is an overall good ecperience but it has a huge RAM prpblem . Out of 512 mb ..no more than 100 is free..its usually less than that...the design and shape is good...touch os soft...but it cannot run HD games and wont play 720p and 1080p movies smoothly...not even on MX player...its screen sometimes acts as a double view mirror...even on full brightness and it has a huge network issue...wifi range is also very low...if u are low on budget...try buying a secondhand phone....with atleast 1gb of RAM if u r a frequent app user...if not ...than go ahead and give it a try

not fast enough, delay in response and can easily hang on quick or sudden process shifting, this phone cannot handle heavy applications at once such as HD games, it has major problems in network connectivity. weak network bars and variance in reception. many software errors such as camera malfunction, with "camera error, cannot connect to camera" "network error,USSD problem"
Generally its a poor performance phone

I'm not a big app user, however I've been really happy with the phone overall, good battery life, strong phone calls. I've used it a number of times to navigate with and I'm actually a fan of the FM radio on it because even though you need headphones for an antenna, you can play it over the speaker. Can't tell you how nice it is to just listen to local music and news while you're working on something away from the house.
It fits really nicely in my hand too. Bought a cheap clip on case and screen protector on ebay for five bucks.. pleasant experience.

Hi I own a Huawei Ascend Y300. I don't know what went wrong but it just keep switching off for no apparent reason,it will write "Check Connection Network and try again" and the switches off and switch on and write the same thing,it will do that until the battery dies. Its been doing that for 3days now. I don't know what to do. Please help me. Thank You.

using this from last 1 year.. and its amazing.. working without any issue/lag.. cant install big games coz of limited space... but nice experience.. must buy phone

I've now had this phone for a year, and it has been really not too good. Itlags soooo much when I try to play any popular games, the camera isn't the greatest and the screen response is really just not good. But I must give Huawei credit for this phone because it has lasted me a whole year with common drops and showers. It was a decent buy for only $80.

I cannot unerstand all the bad reviews this phone is getting here, I think its a fantastic phone.
It allows me to disable apps that i will never use then those apps dissapear from the sceens,I can restrict apps from using data to update, set it to ask my permission for an app to update, battery life is amazing, average use i have to charge every 3 to 4 days. everything runs smoothly, if i had one complaint it would be the camera, the photos it takes are not that great but i've never been good at taking photos anyway, I've used an iphone 4s and a samsung s3 and for what this phone cost i would prefer to have this Ascend y300 over them any day.

i have a huawei y300..
my problem is the camera why always coming/show failed to initialize camera during im taking photos and making video call.i already factory reset the phone but still coming......thnks(Help!.)

This phone is useless, browsing is so slow, Facebook app does not work properly take for ever to load or doesn't at all, streaming videos is a nightmare, when playing music and using the phone, the music would just stop, camera is not that great, I'm back to using my CAT B15 which is a better phone haven't had any issues, and I've thrown it against the wall to test of the strength of the phone and had it under water
