Got this phone on sale $50 CDN...great bang for the buck however interface is horrible took me forever to figure out how to change lock screen wallpaper. Installed nova launcher works like a charm.

hi everyone i got this phone a month ago, it works perfectly.with Emotion UI 1.0 by Infiniti,it is awsome all games run good and fast .very long battery life,very clear screen,hi quality video recording,very smooth,i can use alot of apps at the same time:viber+facebook+youtube+......anti scratch screen .just amazing.thanks everyone here in GSMARENA for their opinions that helped me to get this phone.

Just put this into ... moreyes...buddy you are right. this is one of the most amazing cell phone from HUAWEI, when i bout it back in MARCH, first i was very disappoint, it doesn't have a APP DRAW,(which is basically a HUAWEI emotion UI's awesome feature, ) later on i observe and feel that not having a App Draw is the best thing Which HUAWEI done to the Android, Samsung have a very heavy loaded UI. on that time viber had some issue and also internet calling was not working. i thought that i made the wrong decision, but HUAWEI does the job, they give software support immediately and after update the cell phone working fine....excellent battery backup...awesome crystal clear IPS display....its smooth never lag until i opened more than 6 Apps. 3G speed is good...back/front cam is good. i am using 32GB SD card almost fill up to 20 GB..no problem...720p vid running good even i try to play some 1080p vid by changing codec...but it doesn't run smooth all the time....one of the most amazing thing is the built in file manager, it is user friendly on the top there is two tabs internal and SD card...it will not ever miss lead you while you are going through multiple folders and file in you cell phone...
i am totally satisfied til now, i had drop it once from 10 ft hight..and luckily it sustain;-)..case of y300 is very durable i am a very rough user still its not faded from anywhere. Back finish is good and feel comfortable in hand, never slip from my hand.
those who didn't like HUAWEI PRODUCT go and buy Samsung expensive product which are almost triple the amount which HUAWEI is offering. well done HUAWEI good job.

I haven't gotten this phone, but have been told that it was a phone which has double the power of the Samsung Galaxy Ace II X, has better performance, better size, better design, and is only $79.99, vs the $200 fee to buy outright. I don't use texting or calling, but I love Google Talk, so this, with a prepaid plan is the prime replacement for my Blackberry Pearl, which if I trade in, I could be able to pay of a third of the phone.

i was having this fone for sometime. i got bunch of issues like restarting, occational lag etc.. battery will die soon if you play games and internet. if you put on standbye the battery will last forever. you can move app to sd card also. overall good budget phone 4 normal usage. it has decent camera RAM and GPU...can play almost all games but not all. i will recommend this phone for normal users but not for heavy and power users

If you leave it on standby , then it would last almost forever...
.
NOTE :-
It has a good battery for normal usage , but if you feel it's not good enough for your type of usage...
Well almost no smartphone has a good battery life...
