Great phone for the price. 2 cameras and a 3877mv battery. All features that other phones have if you don't need an amazing camera or hi def video recording.

Had this phone for 4 months, great solid handset, big bright screen, good camera, great for most apps, really cant fault it! notifications are sometimes missing but that's just android :)

I really like my huawei y300 but the problem is, i can't find cases for it because here in the philippines the unit is already phased out.

The Y300 has 4GB ram but Linux 4.1
needs about 3GB. This means that 1GB is still free.
I would recommend a sd-card (32GB is recognized, larger then that not) as storage cause if You add more functions then the linux will occupy more ram.
Use the SD card for photo storage, downloaded files etc.
Keep the internal ram best for the installed linux.
If you add data, sure no big files on ram.
