the huawei y300 am using is not genuine because the name on it is written next GT but when you switch on it identifys itself as huawei.

Must first root your phone, second use app link2sd to move your apps to sd to free memory. And in the end you can remove some preinstall app with root unninstaler.

I have used my huawei for about 9months now and l still have it but the camera is longer working but to just write "can not connect to camera" and the touch instead of using the flashlight at the back it is now using the screen brightness.Please help

Graeme, 08 May 2015How do I activate the lens for the secondary camera (the on... moreOpen the camera app. There should be an on-screen symbol with 2 circular arrows (covering 360 degrees). Click on it, and you should see your face in the screen !
Note: symbol might differ slightly, as I loaded the updated Y300 ROM issued by Huawei after the Heartbleed bug.

Mohammed Rehan, 05 May 2015Hi! i am using Huawei Y300. Its best phone. But problem is ... moreI have an app called "One Key Boost" installed on my phone, and seldom, if ever, does my phone freeze. This app helps free-up memory - use it a few times a day, as the phone has low memory to begin with.
However, when your phone does hang, reboot it by pressing down on power button, and then "Restart" on pop-up menu.
