Does this phone really have proximity sensor as listed in the specs. Mine doesn't seem to have or is it a setting I have to turn on. Please help, I like the phone so far except for the inability to turn off the screen automatically during calls to avoid touching the screen accidentally.

Root any android phone, use Vroot. I have used vrootover 10 devices, very effective.

You can root the phone with help of code for Huawei and install Firmware from Cyanogen .. Only problem is 512 mb ram is not sufficient for some apps. Rest is fine. I have used y300 for 1 yr

the worst android I've ever used.
Has too many bugs with no update to them.
You are not able to send SMS to any Google contacts that have any format rather than pure numbers (even white spaces). You need to type the dest number each time you want to send a message or reply. Only fix is to go to your google contacs and save the number without (666) - 5444 - 5444.
Dual core is not. The applications that comes by default uses almost the half of the 4GB internals.
Google maps on this phone has a "feature" that if you shake it, it will ask you for comments on the app... come on, my car is moving... and shaking!!
I'll try to root it and remove everything. Expecting to improve it.

haasss, 28 Jul 2014wich games can this phone playBest low budget smartphone all time. software resembles huawei p7, p6, g6, honor 3c, except it has jb 4.2.2. bettery life normal, not great nor weak. Better than sony xperia m, samsung s duos 2 except screen quality, and camera,its normal but not worst. no back speaker only front speaker for call and media stuff. Running all games fluently bcoz it has mali 400 gpu. antutu score 10650, quadrant score 3650. back camera is better than huawei y511, much better. I like emotion ui 2, what a policy by huawei to keep same ui both in above 400$ p7 and 80$ y330, Amazing.

It's a very good mobile with wise function as a smart phone with affordable price . The only thing Am still struggling to do is some attachment in my email can't be open . It says try to find an application in playstore . Can anyone help advice me of an appropriate application i can download ?

This is a really great phone! you can play and do multitasking with no problem maybe the battery life is not the best but the good performance solves it, I really recommend it! go try it...

This phone have some sligthly issues but trust me that u cant buy better low budget phone.for 99 eur u get good picture quality and amazing performance,web browsing,texting,interface using goes without any,but any bug.Ifu are interested in games,this phone will support every android game u want(maybe ther is some unsuported but i've download a lot of big and good graphic quality games and the all work perfect,although there might be few fps drops).I bought this phone just few days after its realised in europe and my immpresions are awesome.
