Screen takes off scrolling on its own at times. Wife refused to use it after locking up on her frequently. Figured, I would give it a try. I lasted 3 days before I ordered the Moto 4G on sale at Amazon, hoping I will be much better off. Recommend picking another phone than The Y330, I have nothing against Huawei, just think you can chose a better budget smartphone than this model. I actually paid more for the Y330 (1.5 years ago) than I did the Moto 4G (last week) that on paper has much better specs. I will be able to compare the two soon.
If you are an Amazon Prime member and get there while the sale is on the Moto 4G 16GB is at $149.00 with a $25.00 discount applied at checkout bringing this phone down to around $125.00. The Y330 is still listed at $170.00 on some sites, although I paid $145.00 a year and half ago.

Welp, you won't be playing Pokémon GO on this, as it is stuck on Android 4.2 with no possibility of upgrading (not even with CyanogenMod and such)
Otherwise it has never let me down for its phone and texting.
The only negative I've got is that the calling app it uses by default is a bit annoying if you call a lot of answering machines. The keypad gets locked whenever you're in a call to prevent accidental dialing, and the way to unlock it is to double tap. The screen also turns off almost immediately when you're in a call. This means that when you're asked to "press 2" or whatever, you have to: Press the wake-up button, Double-tap on the lock carefully, Press 2. By then you've probably timed out on the answering machine or triple-tapped the wrong thing accidentally. I miss physical buttons :(

No blaming! you get what u paid.
But for me the most rough tough phone ever.
It drops on concrete roads, house floor etc for uuncountable times.
Once falled backcover, battery, and handset all seperate. Some time it falls even on slight mud.
But still perfectly alright almost 2 yeara im using.

This phone is... Usable.... If your desperate. It is strictly for emergency calls and texts only. Anything else, just wrecks it. It's not the phones fault I guess. Just really shit specs. I got it in nz for about $99.99. Looks ok on paper, in practise... Eeehhhh. So no games or social media. It can handle a little YouTube. But low quality (480p) and sometimes can freeze and lag. If you use anything other than the texting and calls. The ram just crashes and it lags almost beyond use. If you type to fast on the keyboard it lags, REALLY BADLY. like how when you hold a key it changes to a symbol, that's what it does all the time.
Not very good. Horrible even.
But usable.

Well I have had this phone for 18 months with no problems. All I do is make calls and use internet.
Stupidly I decided to buy a newer phone, Samsung galaxy mini j1.
Problems from day 1.
Bought the y330 in UK and the J1 in Thailand.
Are phones sold in Europe superior to those sold in Asia?
