Huawei’s got two new fitness bands coming to the market. In the US you’ll be able to get either the Huawei Band 3 Pro or the Huawei Band 3e.

The Band 3e is $30 and features a detachable body that you can fasten to your shoe for advanced motion tracking to collect your running data. It’s more of a barebones fitness tracker so you can use it to track steps and workouts and its battery lasts about 14 days with typical use. Note that the 3e doesn’t have a heart rate monitor but it does support sleep tracking.

The Huawei Band 3 Pro is the better buy. For $70, you can get a fitness tracker fitted with built-in GPS support, a heart rate monitor with Huawei’s advanced TruSeen 3.0 IR-based sensor, sleep tracking, and advanced swim tracking. It has a 0.95-inch color touch AMOLED display for easy navigation.

The Band 3 Pro is rated for 5ATM water resistance and can last up to 12 days of normal use with both sleep tracking and continuous heart rate monitoring enabled. Both bands sync to Huawei Health, which offers sync integration with Google Fit.

You can order either device starting today from Amazon.com, B&H, or Newegg. The Band 3e comes in pink or black while the Band 3 Pro comes in black, blue, or white with a gold body.

Because it is enough to tarack the movements. The home gadgets tracking promise too much. Could say they are lying. It is just show something, nothing else. They are not accurate info about your quality of your sleep.

How can the 3e have sleep tracking without any advanced sensors like the heart rate monitor? I don't think you can accurately detect sleep by motion alone.
