Huawei Enjoy 70X Premium announced with Kirin 8000 SoC
Ahead of the Mate 80 series launch, Huawei has quietly introduced the Enjoy 70X Premium in China. The phone is largely identical to the Enjoy 70X, which was unveiled earlier this year. However, the Premium edition offers a new chipset and fresh color options.
The Huawei Enjoy 70X Premium edition is powered by an octa-core Kirin 8000 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It also supports satellite communication allowing users to send text or image messages when there’s no network connection.
It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel features a pill-shaped cutout at the top for the 8MP front camera and gets an in-display fingerprint scanner.
At the back, the Enjoy 70X Premium edition gets a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth unit.
The handset offers a 6,100mAh battery with support for 40W wired charging. It runs HarmonyOS 4.2 out-of-the-box. Other specs of the phone include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Huawei is offering the Enjoy 70X Premium edition in Obsidian Black, Sand Gold, and Starry Blue color options.
As for the pricing, the 8GB/256GB variant can be yours for CNY 1,899 ($265), whereas the 8GB/512GB option is CNY 2,199 ($310). The Enjoy 70X Premium edition is available for purchase from Huawei’s online Vmall store in China.
