My Hiawei doesn´t read the memory card. I've tried going to file manager but it doesn´t appear there. What should I do ?

Is the maximum volume on the G6600 only 6. It is very hard to hear incoming sms. My previous Nokias could be set at a much higher level

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2011y can't the tpg sim card not work on this dual when other s... moreDid you try swapping the SIM cards around? It's likely that the SIM 2 slot can connect only to a limited range of frequencies. Also, this is a 2G phone, and so CANNOT work with any 3G service, incuding Next G.

-> Options
-> Customize
-> Tone settings
Select 'SIM1 incoming call' or 'SIM2 incoming call' and scroll through the options. You will hear a sample of each as you scroll through them.

I bought this phone in Australia. Uses two sims without issue, I have a go-sim intl roaming sim, and local australian sim both work fine.
My only issue is I cannot find the option to change the ringtone which is annoying me no end.
Price-wise and functionality-wise I am very happy.

-> Messaging
-> SMS
-> SMS settings
-> SIM1 (or SIM2) message settings
-> Common settings
-> Select 'save sent message'.
-> Select 'done'.
-> When prompted to save, select 'yes'.

How do you change the contacts list to just one option cause it has numbers from both sim and phone so now i hav 2 of every contact person its getting so annoying

this phone is really good with the price is very affordable. the only problem am encountering is that I can't use my second sim on this. Every time i put it, it goes blank and keeps blinking saying searching..but for how long? other than that it's really good with all those included features in it. am after dual sim..plese help me to solve this..

I CANNOT get this phone to work with my own SIM card no matter what I do. As soon is I TRY to start it with the card inserted, it decides to go to a blank screen.
I'd say it's a nice phone though... WHEN I CAN USE IT!!
Also where are the darn manuals?
