sad face, 10 Nov 2010this is not a smartphone :( :(what d'u mean not a smartphone? is it not a (real) java multitasking capable phone? (the 'real' means u can run more than one java apps, e.g listening music from player with opera runs or browsing with it n at the same time u chat via nimbuzz)
push the menu button while u runs an app, does it give u options to run another? thx b4.

This is an amazing phone. I bought it three weeks ago from Dick Smith for $59 (i just missed out: you could buy it at Harvey Norman for $59 and get $150 free credit. Before i got it, i read all the reviews on here, and became convinced. i was not wrong, this phone fits all my specifications, all though no wifi.

Very easy to use, all though the keypad is small and may need small fingers, the space bar is a little stiff. apart from that, everything works fine, it has a number of ringtones installed that are cool.

i do have a question though: how do you change the shortcuts? i know that you can do it for the select button but how about the buttons next the the answer button?

Get it, it works, is a very good price, long battery life if charged over night, and is amazing! get it!!

This phone is very well placed in the market place. At $59.00 AUD Pre Paid, theres no way you can go wrong. Ive had mine for 3 weeks now and its very easy to use ( beats touch phones hands down ) and its the lowest priced QWERTY phone on the market. Its only fall back and i really hate this is its only a 2G Handset. But, if your using it for a quick email or facebook its great. Go grab one, i did !

At DSE, they've (twice, at different SA stores) offered to extend the warranty for a 2nd year, for $9.95 - at ONE of them, they threw-in a 4 GB microSD memory card FREE.

Initially hard to get the back off one of the phones (cf the You-Tube video if you don't work it out how in a short time), we consider it a cheap, albeit, small screen multimedia player & eBook reader. :-)

(We've yet to try all the formats & see how video & eBooks look.)
