First save your ringtone to either the internal memory or external memory card. From the menu click profiles then general and then customise. Click tone settings then incoming call and scroll down to number 11 which should say "empty".Click the + sign at the bottom of the screen, click on either phone or memory card depending on where you stored the ringtone, choose the ringtone and follow the prompts. All done

Bought this phone about a month ago as I changed network provider, being middle aged and not knowing a lot, I bought the cheapest phone available. Apart from the microphone (couldn't hear other person) breaking after 2 weeks which resulted in shop changing it, it has been fine.
It was reasonably easy to work out how to use it, with the help of some previous comments on here. Only trouble I had was scrolling with my finger to find a contact, but solved that by re-reading the booklet and realising I could use my 'volume/scrolling' bar on the side. So now it is perfect.

I am no expert at all but I had this problem and sorted by going into profiles and selecting "Tesco" i.e click on Messaging - Message settings - Text message -profile settings - select "Tesco". No idea what the other two are. hope this helps

I bought this phone as a temporary stand in for my broken smartphone until my upgrade came though. I have to say I've been very happy with it, its nothing special by any means but for the price does the job very well.
Pros:
Long battery life - three to four days out of a single charge.
Fairly robust
Neat and simple
Excellent connectivity (USB mass storage, GPRS modem out of the box)
Works out of the box with Linux (massive pro for me)
Cons:
Practically unusable for Internet / Email.
Custom OS (would have preferred android)
OS somewhat slow and clunky, parts can be un-intuitive.
No 3G connectivity, GPRS only.
Very limited memory.
Text entry difficult to use, predictive text is annoying and inflexible.
To sum it up, its a simple phone that does simple phone things very well. It's certainly not a replacement for a smartphone, I would place it in the same realm as the Nokia 6330.

To person who lost photos.
Recovering photos from a corrupt micro sd card can be either easy or hard; I know, I am really helpful....lol
I've always recovered any lost media myself; although sometimes it looked bleak.
I have, however, a lot of unfortunate/fortunate experience in recovering lost media.
The best advice I can give you is to use a free program like Recuva to get back images.
If recuva doesn't work write back and I'll advise you on some other software.
Also you may be experiencing the problem that your micro sd card is unreadable yet the card itself seems ok, no cracks/clean connectors, there are ways around this.
If anyone else needs any help recovering media post here and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.
