Dell, 28 May 2012Have tried everywhere to get a cover for this phone with no lucki got a leather cover from ebay pretty cheap.

Please pay closer attention dmk, I said “there are no downloads available for updating this OS” not that there are no downloads! You cannot download the Huawei OS or any updates for this OS from the two sites you have mentioned.

Assuming that you have not already overwritten you data, you may have a chance to recover something of lost data. Good luck!

MINA, 04 Jul 2012does this fone take the whatssup application,..pls reply asap. The Huawei G7300 appears to run only java apps. The "whatssup" application is probably not going to run on the G7300 if it's not java. You should check at the download source exactly what phones the app is known to run on before downloading it.

That is NOT Android, NOT Symbian, NOT Windows, NOT anything else, just a custom Huawaei operating system. As there are no downloads available for updating this OS, there is little possibilty for us to peek inside and see what it really is. Hopefully hackers will hack this OS and release the unrealised potential of this phone!

Firstly do not allow any changes or data to be written to phone memory. Go get a good free file recovery software for PC such as "recuvva" or something similar that will recover data from USB memory sticks. Plug your phone into the USB port of your PC as a memory stick and let the software go to work on it. You may have lost all your pix, but if you're lucky something may be retrieved. Good luck!

I chose this phone because of the big screen and thinking for the price it would have been better and now I wish i didn''t.. Hands down the worst phone I've ever used!It is annoying to text and annoying to call.you need a stylus to use the qwerty keyboard which you can, but it's not supplied or nowhere on the phone to store it.The best feature of this phone is that I can use it as a paper weight.

I bought this phone mainly to take photos and upload onto facebook, the camera quality is crap, my simple old nokia had a better camera, as for uploading it wont let me, i cant figure out why anything i download wont save to my micro sd... I knew i was buying a cheap phone but i thought it would of been a little better than it is, i also cannot find any pc suites for this phone..
