Huawei Honor with Ice Cream Sandwich launched in China

23 January, 2012

In collaboration with Chinese telecom China Unicom Huawei has released a version of their Honor smartphone running Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The said device is white too and will be released at the beginning of February just in time for Valentine's Day. It's unclear if the white version of the Honor will remain a China Unicom exclusive or we're going to see it elsewhere too.

Ice Cream Sandwich on the Honor

We've seen an official demo of the Honor running on ICS back in December of last year, which surely pointed to an official release of an update for the device. We hope that it's just a matter of time (not too much we hope) before the ICS update rolls out to the rest of the world.

this is already available in the Philippines, but there are only 4 major telecom stores which are authorized seller of Huawei. This phone is very sleek and it comes more features. i like the way it's built and the way it can keep several apps in one...
