January 2025, I was given a Pixel 8 to use last year. Weighing up the pros and cons between the two this is still my favourite daily.
Still on EMUI12 Android 10, the Pixel on Android 15 offers less. I struggle to find the advantages in more recent Android versions, just getting more locked down like iPhone.

Mate 30 Pro is the best phone I have been using so far, bought it on Feb'21 and still using it (Jan'24) like a charm.
Only downside is not having any upgrades regarding the OS as I got a global version, and hope to get the HARMONY OS soon.

I have been using this phone after Mate 10 for 2 years now. It amazes me the great durability after getting hit on the wooden or cement floors several times a max of 2 ft high believe it or not, but nothing got damaged even a small dent. I love it despite of no google play!
