Decent display (display has never been Huawei’s top-notch feature) INCREDIBLE camera, good battery life, not to mention the dual speakers. For 899 euros I don’t think it’s that bad. I mean, co pared the the Note 20 and the iPhone 12 Pro, it’s pretty good.

Apart from the obvious (lack of Google services), there are two mayor flaws in my opinion. Some exotic memory card format and curved screen. Other than that, nice device. Even 3.5mm jack is there! Price is appropriate for what it offers. Well aligned with competition. But not for me. I need Google services and I don't wanna rely on some third party hacks to get them.

Dxo samples awesome. Just confirm what I expected, better colors and detail. Super HDR also on top.

With better optics and processing, camera should perform even above p40's. It also got a Jack, you can compare then just to likes of xperia1/5, but I guess it resolves more detail than xperia.

I prefer this Mate 40 more from the rest especially having a headphone jack and has the lowest price even if it’s only IP 53 base on the official launch video.

I think this Vanilla version have stereo speaker too......i can afford this and I prefer it.... I will do my findings about this stereo speakers

Hold on a minute, do the Mate 40 really has a 3.5mm audio jack port? I'd be surprised if it really has one because the vanilla P40 didn't have one.

I wish they made the regular Mate 40 a flat screen and the pro and pro+ with that curved screen.

Did they seriously remove the stereo speakers on the vanilla!? That was virtually the reason why the Mate 30 was more my taste than the pro! Why did Huawei blow it!?
